Fixture Release Day

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They are very nicely spread out, January aside (Liverpool and Stoke away, Chavs at home)

March onwards (scum and citeh aside) is a nice run of games.

Can fit United away and Scum away into my trip. Extremely pleased with that.
You can at the moment my friend.....god knows what day they will be played once our sky overlords decide what date they want them on :rubchin:

Yeah, I build in to arrive Friday morning and depart Tuesday morning. Only United could be moved significantly, as that's the same weekend as the League Cup final.

At least you have a margin of error, I have to bring two kids over on a Saturday and back on a Sunday so it all has to be set in concrete before I can book anything, oh for the old days when it was 3pm on a Saturday and you paid on the gate :-)

We're probably going to have to tackle the first 3 or 4 games of the season without Alexis who will be given an extended break after the Copa America so happy enough with the fixtures in August to be fair.

West Ham won't be on the Saturday assuming they beat two shite teams from Uzbekistan; Liverpool seems nailed for Monday night since every other match involves a team in the League Cup that midweek

Aston Villa's website says this:

Broadcast selection announcement dates

August- September: Next 5 days
October - November: 6 July
December: 17 September
January: 19 October
February: 17 November
March: Second working day in January
April: 3 February
May: 23 March

Seems a bit optimistic though

Glad West Ham away is as late in the season as possible, although I expect it will still be a 50+ credit job

I am guessing that the first game against West Ham will be played on the Monday night? West Ham will have a Europa League game on the thursday so Saturday is out. I reckon it will be Bournemouth v Villa on the early kick off on the Sunday with Man Utd v the scum at the 4pm prine time slot.

I am hoping that this is not the case as I really want to take my youngest to his first game at a decent time kick off.
