Certainly protracted dealings whenever Arsenal are involved, think they want to be fair and let everyone else put a bid in as well

As for this Cech one, do not think it is confirmed can only imagine what is going on behind the scenes, with Mourinho and Wenger involved

As i have said previously they require major overhaul about their transfer negotiation process, which at times is in danger of bringing the club into disrepute, as in Suarez fiasco last year

Always hoping for the best though......as in every year

To be honest, things always seem protracted now with transfers because it is absolutely everywhere in the media now and on social media. For a signing like this, I always expect it to take a while given the clubs and players and the huge amount of words generated over it before negotiations even take place it seems

Earlier in that year Arsenal signed Malcolm MacDonald and that transfer had been flagged in the media. Now transfers seem to go on forever with most never actually completed at all.
Think the last surprise Arsenal signing I can remember was Eduardo with Diarra before that. (or maybe the other way around). Monreal was a bit sudden also along with the trolly dash of deadline day in 2011. But by and large it is a long drawn out experience. imagine what is like for those who swallow every media transfer speculation story.

You are talking about McDowell aren't you ?

 I only put rumours on here Augie I don't think I have ever claimed any of it to be FACT

Saw that cringefest last week.

I hate Arsenal Fan TV with a passion, they've made some right twats feel like they are celebs now.
I couldn't agree more. They are an embarrassment to our club and no more important than anyone else. Hope they face some serious backlash at away days next season.
I'm guessing you saw the 'cry for help' on Twitter last Friday with the place going into panic mode as a result?

Everything to do with it is cheap reality TV style nonsense.

Dont mind it although some of the "characters" on there are very predictable. They just need to speak to a wider variety of people each week. Each club seems to have one of these channels now and they are buidling up the rivallry between the channels themselves now.
I would imagine that a serious rant such as the "I've had a f**king nuff" fella from the first game of 2013/14 would have more of an effect than the official supporters clubs could.
Quite like "Crucial" Robbie though. Any reggae fans remember him from the 80's?

Was this when Claude threatened to kill himself? I didn't see it but, as harsh as it sounds, was relatively unmoved. Anyone who does a live stream of them contemplating suicide is nothing but a whore for attention.

I have seen various things about Jackson Martinez posted on here and elsewhere but i am slightly confused as to his actual scoring prowess to be honest.

I've read on here that he has a lower conversion rate than Giroud and Sanchez but then i read somewhere else today that he has 28 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions today, could someone clarify?

(Edit got my figures wrong allegedly 34 in 42 in all competitions)

Thanks :?
