Leicester sack Pearson

Post by officepest »

Announced by BBC radio that Leicescescescester City have sacked Nigel Pearson.

I've always found him to be a rather creepy bastard, and his antics last season were bordering on demented, but I am slightly surprised they've binned him now after he managed to keep them up.

He's still a prize tool though.

It's not for his results, that's for sure.

Imagine if somebody like 'Arry did what he did with Leicester - he wouldn't be able to walk down the street without getting his dick sucked.

Just noticed this is mentioned in the Wenger thread, but then everything usually is. :barscarf:

Probably the Thai hooker incident with his son that was the final straw. Pearson's a prize cvnt so not sad to see him go, although they played some lovely stuff the last 1/4 of the season

The guy overseen THE most amazing turnaround of any season in living memory. It is clear that the players were 100% behind him. The team played with a tempo and courage unmatched by any of their rivals and their stadium was rocking for every single home game and that played a big part in their survival. At the start of the season their target would have been premiership survival and he achieved that........what more do they want ? I don't give a fcuk about his son nor his run in's with the media or james mcarthur cos if I was a foxes fan I would be very unhappy tonight

Has to be something to do with the Thai Hookers or transfer targets to be sacked now. Why else wait until now to sack him?

His son got sacked for that incident (by their Thai owner) so can't imagine he took that on the chin.

The Timing of this is strange...thought if he was going to go - it would have been at the end of last season.

I am delighted. :D  :barscarf:

Couldn't stand the prize prick. He was an arrogant ignorant cúnt. He was an absolutely deluded egomaniac. His interviews were cringe inducing. I honestly was always surprised he never just whipped his cock out and asked the interviewer if he'd like to suck the cock of the greatest football manager that ever lived. His lone hero against the odds persona made Timmy The Lone Hero's own lone hero persona look fucking understated.

Did I mention he's a cúnt? :rubchin:

I'm not denying the possibility that he is a c.unt, but what I am saying is that he did an outstanding job for them last season and unless they have a top manager lined up (unlikely I know) sacking him seems ridiculous to me. When you see dyche's name being mentioned as one of the early favourites for the job then it makes the decision even more farcical

On the surface he did seem to do a good job keeping them up. But how much of that was him? How much the fixture list? How much the players and/or coaches? I'm always a bit reluctant to buy into the whole manager singlehandedly kept them up thing. Not saying you are saying that, augie - but the media seem to be going down that road.

As for sacking him, maybe he got cocky and demanded stupid money to improve the squad? He seemed like the type of bell end to go into a major strop if he didn't get what his ego told him he deserved tbh. Maybe he had no ideas beyond staying up? Maybe the Leicester board realised he (and his son) were vermin? :D

Maybe it was an internal player revolt.... I remember one interview he publicly blamed the players for losing a game. The very next game the same set of players won and he took credit for it. I think he lives in the same self promoting, self aggrandising world of the Fat Sam's, Lying Phil Brown's and Wheeler Dealer 'Arry's of the game. And has about the same level of managerial brilliance too.

Well, at least he can "handle himself" all the way to the Job Centre now. His son can tag along too, if he's not balls-deep in some oriental lady's arse.
