Well Done Sanchez & Chile

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Delighted for him.

As he penalty showed he is a mentally strong guy.

Wonderful year for the guy, a national hero for sure, hope he wins more next year with us.

Delighted for him but him getting to the final is not good news for us as he probably wont rejoin the club until early august and wont be ready for action until late august - this will obviously affect vidal's start as he tries to settle into our club

That's a good point :rubchin:

By the way, every time I've seen Higuain he comes across as a bit of a plonder... and a little heavy :?

Anyway, well done Alexis!! :barscarf:

Congrats to Alexis, but this may have a similar effect on him that winning the World Cup did on Mertesacker (especially) and Ozil, so from a purely selfish point of view we'll have to see if Sanchez gets "2nd season syndrome". Shouldn't be needing to be so overly reliant on his goals anyway, with basically no injuries left.

Read somewhere that he's started 76 games in the last 15 months, not sure how true that is.
