A scorer of great goals, a player of unparalleled vision and had that nasty streak which gave him a silent hard-man edge.

Without doubt one of the top-three players ever to pull on the Arsenal jersey.

In an age where the word legend gets hoyed about without the slightest justification; here is a man for whom the epithet is fully deserved.
