No offence, but take a day off, mate. Nobody wished the chap ill. Nobody said they were happy he got injured. And yes every fucker and his cousin has had a pop at Wenger for the folly of extending Diaby's contracts etc etc etc. Being happy we have released a guy that delivered proper fuck all but was paid the guts of £30million over a ten year spell doesn't make anyone the Antichrist!

But tbh, my sympathy for Diaby is limited. He will never have to work another day in his life. He hasn't earned that. I will though. I will have to work fucking hard for the rest of my life to pay for my home, my kids education etc. So forgive me if I'm not too upset at the multi-millionaire Abou Diaby being released. M'kay?

I still maintain that Diaby deserved everything we offered him and you going-off about the wages he picked up while injured is muppetry at its finest. You keep saying that we shouldn't feel sorry for him because he still got £30 million out of it; that's incredibly mean-minded. You don’t even know what percentage of his wages was covered by insurance. Not everything is about the money. You are now parroting the money line peddled by the club, like all idiots that celebrate it as if they stand to gain from the riches made out of it. There is no evidence whatsoever that the £30 million could have been invested in the squad and made a difference to how we performed in the 10 years Diaby was on the books.

Diaby could have been one of the best midfielders but instead he's achieved absolutely nothing through no fault of his own, but the "let's get in their face" and "we got to let them know we're there" philosophy adopted by Neanderthal British managers, pundits and players. No one will remember him for what he did on the pitch. That must be incredibly frustrating for him, not to mention getting up every morning and knowing full well that he won't be able to do the thing that he's worked his entirely life for. I would like to see how you'd fare after a person shatters your hand. See how you would be able to sit at work in front of your pc with aching hand and creeping doubt in your mind! I somehow suspect you would take to your bed and never get back to work. Diaby wasn’t sitting around on his arse and not trying to make an effort to get back on the pitch. Make no mistake! He wasn’t kept by Wenger out of kindness or some sentimental shit. He was kept because if fit he simply is amazing. The guy has the lot; physical strength, vision, goals, control and bags of ability. Unfortunately, you are reminiscent of a modern football supporter living in a world flooded with greed, short-sightedness and cynical pragmatism.

I'll tell you how I fare, you jumped up mong. I work on average 10 to 12 hours a day. That's just to keep up with the workload. I don't get paid overtime. I've played football for 40+ years now. I've broken both ankles (one a compound double fracture), my right arm, left wrist, damaged my ACL, dislocated my right shoulder, received about 50+ stitches, torn ankle ligaments in both ankles numerous times, have fluid on both knees, torn my hammies a couple times, fractured an eye socket, cracked ribs a couple times, had 3 teeth knocked out, broken my nose 5 times. Every single day I'm in pain in both ankles and knees and by the end of a work day I'm fit to drop. I then play football every Saturday and afterwards I can barely walk. And I pay for the privilege! I don't have expensive club physio's and doctors looking after me. But still I do it and will do until I physically can't. I don't want anyone's fucking sympathy either, I choose to do it.

So you might want to forgive me if I'm not too fucking bothered because a multi-millionaire has been released from the club I've spent thousands and thousands of Euros supporting.

As for your claim there is no proof the 30 odd million we paid him would have been used to pay better or more reliable players? That's hardly the point. The point is the club begged poverty for 10 years yet pissed away 30 million on this one player (and numerous others) that delivered nothing and should have been released long long ago. Not everything is about money? Who said it was? What is about money though, is paying a player 30 million over a 10 year period in the form of contract extensions and pay rises after that player has shown repeatedly to be unreliable, injury prone and of absolutely no use to the club. In the real world where us tax paying mortgage paying work for a living people live, that is disgusting waste.

As for your pathetic jibe about me being a modern football fan? Fuck off you idiot. If anyone is coming across as a modern football fan it's you and your apparent cult of personality obsession with Diaby, typical of the hero worshiping modern fan that supports the player or the manager before the club.

I can't work out how Augie has managed to confuse Gabriel with Robin_L......but in terms of Abou.....we know that There's Only One has got form for only letting Thierry, Jens and Sol only train with the club ! Until the great man signs for someone else the dream lives on !

Hopefully they will stick a WBA shirt on him as he signs because it's likely to be the longest time he spends in the shirt all season!!
