If we really buy Llorente then what is the difference between Wenger has or has no money.

Fuck all happening,SSN suggesting we have entered the race for John Stones from Everton
John Stones is just the latest player the media are all falling over themselves to declare 'future England captain' and mark him in England's World Cup 2022 side.

I've watched him play and he's a decent youngster but these are the same things we were hearing about Phil Jones and Chris Smalling a few years ago and they both looked destined for Europa League/mid-table mediocrity. Christ knows what the media would be like if another Sol Campbell, Rio Ferdinand or John Terry came through the ranks now.

Still, somebody will pay stupid money for him. City at £28m at the end of this season.

Hot off the press, I kid you not. Suarez has a £50m buy-out clause, and Wenger has offered £50,000,001 (never been quite sure why we needed to pay that extra £1.00) so the business is almost done. He's going to play him in the hole behind Giroud, a false No.10 (whatever that means)....Suarez keen to return to the PL after a poor season in Spain, and has been spotted today viewing houses just off the North Circular.

OK , that's all a load of cock, but so is most everything else on this forum of late...

Bono wears sunglasses indoors. Point made earlier thus proven conclusively. However, when about 19 I wore some aviator shades at a party and scored big-time. But that''s probably a story for another day.

Obviously Akpom was much too ever to get his first senior goal for the club (is that such a bad thing?). However I still hold the hope that a player from within the club would turn out to be something special.

Sure we all want and love big money deals to show we are truly a big club. But if the likes of Akpom could step up with great effect, I'm sure many on here would allow themselves a sneaky wee grin.

akpom hoping to break into first team

Blimey, he's confident; has he not noticed our other strikers? :o (no....? bit like yesterday then when he failed to see the pass even though it was 4 on 1 :rubchin:  )
another Sanogo in the making.....

He is miles better than Sanogo already and is just 19. I honestly can see Akpom being good enough to have a future at Arsenal but he may need to spend a season or so on loan - preferably at a PL / top of Championship club.

I think some people are too quick to write him off based mainly on the failure of a few other prospects to make it.

I hope you're right as it would be great to see a youth player come through into the first team 8)

I've not seen enough of him to make a judgement yet though. He's looked lively in pre-season, but I do find it worrying that his eyes were fixed firmly on the ball as he ran towards goal and was clearly oblivious to the fact it was a 3 or even 4 on 1 situation

Would love to see him make it though. Perhaps a loan move to a Premier League team first.

Was it just a one-nighter? Or did you end up moving in with him? :D

Don't worry, Swifters, it could be from 100 years ago and it would still be as likely as Wenger getting anyone decent in soon.

Aren't all Sunglasses tinted, thus distinguishing them from regular glasses?

Benzema isn't with the Madrid squad to Shanghai and is on a private jet going somewhere. He put some picture up saying ''Let the past remain the past''

BENZEMA CONFIRMED (for another club, probably)
