WEST HAM HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Keeper at fault for the goal no doubt but absolutely nobody marking the West Ham player as he ghosts into the box. Conceding from fucking set pieces time and time and time again :banghead:

It just makes all the preseason optimism laughable, really. All this "second half of last season" form is bollocks. We may still win this of course, but the same issues are evident: pedestrian tempo, arrogant start from the team thinking they just had to show up, fans believing this would be a stroll... watch Mertesacker on that goal - what's he still doing starting games at the club after the Monaco fiasco? Why did West Ham slice Arsenal open in midfield 5 mins after the goal - where was "Makelele" Coquelin? My favourite topic: Giroud has now gone over 570 mins without a PL goal

But it's ok, cos Arsene claims Arsenal don't need Benzema as "the game has evolved". Yep it has - shame Arsenal are stuck with a dinosaur in the dugout

Told my eldest son before kick off, that we would win either 3-0 or 4-0 and the only hope they had of scoring against us was from a set piece  :banghead:

Not to worry. Just 20 mins to go until we make a sub to try and turn things around

Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Özil, Ox: most of our midfielders are far too similar in style and stature, thus we do not have enough variation to our play.

At times, we are worryingly easy to play against.

Coquelin has been so shit i'd rather have Arteta in there. actually that's an insult to Arteta, at least he wouldn't have given the ball away so much.

Anyone who thinks we're set at DM with those two is smoking crack.

& You know you've got it horribly wrong tactically if it's Giroud having to provide the width.

Cech has had a nightmare too. Moureen is fucking laughing.
