Re: PALACE AWAY THREAD
Fucking hell watching us try to score a goal is absolute torture. Only for the og we'd never have scored, our goals to shots ratio must be abysmal.

3 points is 3 points, but how utterly unconvincing.

I have to agree SteveO, i'd happily have Ospina still in goal right now, sorry but Cech may be worth 12pts a season but not right now he's not.SteveO 35 wrote:As predicted.....let mass window licking begin
By the way - I feel more nervous with the giant snail in goal than when we had Almunia and Flappy at their worst. From their corners he showed all the presence of a little girl

Game should have been over in the first half and there we are hanging on for dear life until the final whistle. My nerves can't stand it.

He can't make a sub before the 70th minute it upsets his routine.Dan_85 wrote:Any manager with a brain takes Coquelin off asap...
Scraped that...Alexis still (understandably) rusty or he might have had a hat trick - Ramsey back to doing those flicks that never come off....Giroud good goal but other than that a fucking Lamp Post.....Don't know about abyone else but everytime the ball goes near our goal and I see Cech it just looks weird.... also i think he has now realised the chav defence who used to protect him in corners and free kicks are no longer there and he has to do with our lot....wenger PLEASE Fuckoff.

Re: PALACE AWAY THREAD
We were by far the better side and I don't see palace losing many at home tbf, we should have had 3 or 4 goals at least and that highlights the fact we need a top class striker.
Giroud though did score a quality goal so fair play to him.
Our midfield players need to accept some responsibility in front of goal because they had a ton of chances even down to the last kick of the game from the ox who should have scored if he had just kept his composure.

Be fair now please. We always "respond" against the likes of Palace/Villa/Norwich. And Arsene has "proven his critics wrong".markyp wrote:total crock of shit,a win but fucking pathetic, palace matched us in all departments, palace ffs!!
For the umpteenth time.

As I said before a ball was kicked: Coquelin isn't good enough, nowhere near. As brainless as Alex Thong FFS

Re: PALACE AWAY THREAD
we need someone to marshall the midfield and coq is definitely not that. if we had a decent DM and a striker of any description that would have been 3-0 today

Re: PALACE AWAY THREAD
Window licking? Do you honestly think sane Arsenal fans would get carried away with that? But conversely, the doomsayers shouldn't really complain, an ugly win away was something we couldn't achieve a few seasons ago.GoonerMuzz wrote:I have to agree SteveO, i'd happily have Ospina still in goal right now, sorry but Cech may be worth 12pts a season but not right now he's not.SteveO 35 wrote:As predicted.....let mass window licking begin

IMO we should have put palace out of the game before they even got going. In the circumstances it's a good result so we should be happy, pisses me off when the usual peeps still moan. Some players still haven't started the season but thank god for Alexis.
The thing that really annoyed me about the game was Giroud having a pop at Alexis in the first half. Total gulf in class even when he is half fit, so shut it you french tart.
