WEST HAM HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Blame Ramsey again. You've got it in for the man.
drop Ramsey,WTF,the player coveted by Barca, really?but we do need a system that gets the best out of caz, rambo, jack etc but Wenker will never see it not like we do but then we haven't had 30 years in footy so what the fuck do we know??
Alex Song was also coveted by Barca. Not really the best standard to evaluate a player's quality.

Not blaming Ramsey, but the system doesn't work with him playing deep and Cazorla on the wing. Cazorla is clearly the better player to play deep. If you want to put Ramsey in for Ozil, then okay. But doubt that is going to happen.

I do not understand Ramsey's position.He ends up being very ragged,aimless runs,sloppy passes,absurd flicks.

Zero positional discipline..

You’ve posted some strange stuff recently but on this I agree with you. We’ve seen he can be a very good player, and also that he can be poor; someone should tell him exactly what’s expected on him as these are key developmental years for him.

The incessant flicks are maddening.

Michael Thomas got like that after Anfield 89, perhaps scoring the cup winner Ramsey thinks he is now above and beyond the running / tackling / passing that mere motals do.
Keep it simple, easy passes without the fancy bollocks liable to give away possession.

Absolutely - but they had an unfair advantage remember because their under-17s had a match against a bunch of amateurs from Andorra

Amazing that they had an advantage over us cos they had played a few "competitive" games, but yet they have played 2 more competitive games since and lost both of them - has playing those extra competitive games suddenly become a disadvantage ? :?

Watching the shammers getting turned in those two games has only deepened my disgust at our shameful performance against them

Isnt it something to do with the Claret that they play in giving them an unfair advantage, same with Villa at the start 2 seasons ago. It just isn't cricket :|
