THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

Post by DB10GOONER »

This growing Wenger mini-backlash in the media is down to one thing only; So many pundits have made total tits of themselves publicly by naming us as title challengers based on our pre-season friendly form and the signing of one player of quality. Our performances against shit wham and very average Liverpool have exposed the absurdity of their claims. These idiot pundits have been shown to be just that - idiots, and now they are having a little lash out at Wenger.

Normally, you'd think this would be a good thing - y'know, putting pressure on the board and Wenger himself? But it will amount no more than a fart in a thunderstorm as only one fucker will decide when Wenger leaves and that is Wenger. :|

We win 4-0 on Sat and we sign no one. We lose 4-0 and we panic buy another ACM that we don't need. Eat, sleep, wánk, shit, repeat, hopefully die someday. :|

haha, poor United. All summer they have to sit around praying they win their CL qualifier before daring to invest in new players whereas we, fresh from a glorious top 3 finish, have been able to get business done early fresh in the knowledge that CL money is ours to spend! :barscarf: ...... :rubchin: ...... :o .......... :cussing:

Won't happen. The vast majority of our fans are placid. Another huge chunk view questioning the manager as a form of disloyalty. If you are waiting for a major fan backlash you are going to be waiting a long long time. Nothing short of relegation would get most of our fans off their arses.

:duh: :duh: :duh:

This is of course the first in 3 seasons season where we havent bought big, or at all really. He does put himself right in the firing line when our tired mentality gets found out again. Still 2 whole seasons on his contract though is it

Cant see him resigning at all,nor the sack its a desperate desperate situation for the thinking mans Gooner.

I suppose him leaving should be good enough but I sincerely hope that when he eventually goes he goes under a massive cloud and I hope he finishes in disgrace and is ridiculed for the arrogant, greedy, selfish, stupid fraud that he is.

Look what I've become
I hate the fact that the guy I loved in 2006 has made me hate him with a passion. This is the worst thing. :(
I've felt like that for the last seven years/seasons mate....But because of his arrogance, intransigence, and utter stubborness he has brought it upon himself..Sad - But 100% True.

Meanwhile WTF does this mean not completely there? Is this a sort of virtual player or what.
I think we are ready to play 90 minutes but maybe it’s normal as well that after two or three games, you are not completely at 100 per cent. That comes slowly. We have started late and as well some players, like Alexis, have come in on August 3 and are not completely there.
