You're all going to look pretty foolish once Wenger has unveiled Messi & Pogba tonight.

The clubs lack of activity in yet another transfer window confirms Wengers arrogance, as well as the fact that Kronke et al have no ambition to win anything but merely see the club,(and by extension us), as a cash cow. Prepare yourself for the end of season battle for 4th place, and the group stage exit from the Champions League. The board will take great pleasure however in announcing yet another year of record profits.nut flush gooner wrote:I am watching Transfer Deadline Day on SSN. Wenger/Kronke out!
On the other subject quoted, I would rather have Kirsty and Natalie to help take my mind off how crap our board are

Quality of content is irrelevant when Hayley is showing a eyeful of clevage or Kirsty is wearing a figure hugging dress.DB10GOONER wrote:Why do it to yourself, mate? Really, youd have Arteta there would you,the old git is an accident waiting to happen, hes so off the pace its embarrassing.flamini cant be trusted to do the job either unless of course you think otherwise in which case im fkin staggeredmarkyp wrote:elpelsarmy wrote:Very lucky that Coquelin was not badly injured at newcastle, that would have left us threadbare, with no real suitable alternative
Yeah that's right because neither Arteta or Flamini have ever played in Coq`s position have they !!! Not saying they are world class but to say we have no cover for him is blatantly rubbish !

The initial point was that there is no cover, there is clearly cover who would do a decent job, Arteta is not as bad as you are making out, would not let us down now he is actually fit again, he looked better than Coq when he came on at palace, im as frustrated at the lack of activity as anyone but coming out with rubbish for the sake of it is not helpful either

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread
"Put off by the 50m price tag on Cavani". That's what happens when you shop on Lastminute.com. They don't need to sell him, they think we're desperate so they ask a ridiculous sum and maybe they get lucky..... but if not... hey they never wanted to sell him in the first place. If the tight fisted pr!ck had gone in 2 months ago for players then he has time through the window to negotiate. He is such an A$$hole. For some reason he thinks, that instead of him coming off as desperate at the the last minute, that clubs are actually desperate to offload their best players to him at bargain basement prices. Or he has zero intention of signing anyone anyway and does it just to make some of our sycophant fans happy.
I said years ago that the only way that this would change is if we miss out on CL. That income dries up and you'll have Kroenke's attention. He'll either have to spend money or sell up. My guess would be the latter as he is not going to risk money that could rather go in his pocket.
And why pundits like Souness were saying before the start of the season that they really fancied Arsenal to challenge this season is beyond me. It's the EXACT same team. With a different G/K. I wish Wenger would just FCUK OFF!!

Bollocks to all this. Wanker is doing the transfer and footballing equivalent of self-immolation, like one one of those Tibetan monks who kill themselves in public to make a point.
Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread
Can I just remind anyone who is thinking of posting the usual post transfer window stuff about "this will be the end of Wenger", or "he will pay for his lack of activity in the transfer market", or "I really think we won't finish in the top 4 this season".......it has all been posted before many, many times (at least once a year for the past 7-8 years anyway), and nothing ever changes. He will be a hero in Kroenke's eyes once more, as he has brought in only the giant snail and made a huge overall wage bill saving from releasing the likes of the Great Abou, Podolski etc, whilst having the wages of Chesney, Sanogoals and many more picked up by other clubs
Top four will still happen, we have already been told of the tens of millions in additional commercial revenues we have.....and now we have saved money on wages too
Still.....I expect the property portfolio is maturing quite nicely

You for real ??
So you don't think we require a new DM, you must be the only one along with your mate WENGER
Yeah they played there, so did Peter Storey in the 1970s FFS....but Arteta is long past his prime, his legs have gone, even though can come in and do a job over the last 10 minutes,
As for Flamini...what the fuck will he do do come on and wave his arms about
