Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Be grateful we don't live in the future age of human cloning, then we would be stuck with Wenger forever!

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
All will have been said but just feel obligated to post. No surprises, no signings in the positions we are desperate for....what a joke. But sadly we all knew it. This is just the confirmation as window closed. I don't want to hear Le Coqs reasoning when it comes.....don't give a f@@@ what he thinks. Only one of 'top 9' in Europe not to sign an outfield player apparently......you

Yeah I'm not surprised at all if he signs another contract. A man who has no sense of shame wouldn't have no problem signing a new contract for a club that has no sense of shame in offering him one.BFG4 wrote:Even if we win nothing these next two seasons, it will matter little, as long as we are finishing 4th and the masses are satisfied with our mediocrity, then Wenger will have no reason not to sign a new contract . As bad as it sounds, there is a possibility that we are going to be putting up with this fucker for another 10 years +.defleppardisking wrote:The only hope i have for Arsenal is Wenger not signing a new contract and this will truly be his last.

I say old chap, isn't protesting rather vulgar and proletarian?! I hope he has time to avail himself of the purchasing opportunities that the football clubs emporiums have to offer.SteveO 35 wrote:A bloke called Gideon is really rather ticked off old beanRugby Gooner wrote:They just read out a text on Radio 5 Live saying that there was/is a protest outside the bowl tonight. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Same shit different window. Yawn.
Only difference is he didn't even bother suggesting we were going to sign anyone this time. His excuses will be the same about not signing players for the sake of it, highlighting 'silly money' transfers made by our rivals although he sadly won't be able to pull out his line about how if we had signed X for £30million people would be saying what a great transfer.
He will trot the same line about togetherness, experience and how this is the best squad he's ever worked with. And we all know we'll finish 3rd, possibly 4th.

2006 - moving to compete with Europe's elite
2009 - football was going through an 'unsustainable bubble' (conveniently points to Portsmouth and Leeds as examples)
2011 - FFP is coming to save the day
2013 - increased commercial deals on the way which will give the manager the funds to sign just about anyone in world football with the exception of a few top players
2015 - there is a shortage of world class players globally and none of them are for sale
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I firmly believe if we get top four this season, with this squad, while all our rivals have strengthened, it'll be Wengers "greatest ever achievement"

Been looking forward to this international break for a while. Don't know if there could be a more damning indictment on the club's failure to engage the fans.SteveO 35 wrote:There's a shortage of world class talent around the world mate.....come on and get with 2015 will you.northbank123 wrote:Same shit different window. Don't worry though, there will be a poisonous attitude for the Stoke game. By which I mean polite applause from clowns who are more concerned with checking their betting apps and the other scores as we run out unconvincing 1-0 winners.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Sent a text to an AKB I know wondering if this cluster fuck of a window had changed his view on Le Fraud. Here's the reply -
"Jeez so you dont think the club tried to bring in a quality player you heard the boss if something exceptional comes up we will do it but you obviously want to buy for the sake of it jeez reminds me of spurs transfer policy"
And there folks is the mindset of the majority of our fanbase. For a few minutes after the window closed today I felt that Wenger had signed his own death warrant and if results go south over the coming weeks the fence sitters would turn on him. What a fucking idiot I am.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
My old man said much the same unsurprisingly ! He'd rather do what we did than panic buy like United......and there you have it, only 2 options. Either panic buy a pile of shite, or do nothing at allrodders999 wrote:Sent a text to an AKB I know wondering if this cluster fuck of a window had changed his view on Le Fraud. Here's the reply -
