Because if he had an ounce of independent soccer(football) education combined with ambition, he would have fired Arsene Wenger's arse by now!!

Stan is the most senior part of Arsenal FC and he calls the shots. Arsene was canny enough to install a man who ensure he could do what he wanted for as long as he wanted.

We're f*cked because we'll never go on a 9 game losing run or anything like that. We'll always do just enough.
They're both culpable. But ultimately Wenger is in charge of all things football, it's down to him. If Wenger turned around and spent £60 odd million bringing in the likes of Cavani & Schneiderlin I doubt Silent Stan would have much to say about it as we spent about that much much last season net. All he cares about is watching his assets appreciate, it's not ideal but it could be far, far worse.

I blame Gibbs, if he didn't clear the ball off the line in Wembley then Wenger would be long gone

Ain't that the truth. As much as I've wanted Wenger gone since 2008 the thought of Kroenke and Gazidis searching for his replacement absolutely scares the living shit out of me. If I had a straight choice right now of either TO1AW out or Kroenke, it would be our useless tool of an owner every day of the week. As you rightly say, an ambitious owner wouldn't tolerate Wenger's 4th place dream for long anyway

Watch out now SteveO. Any talk of replacing Kroenke will have The Cook and his merry band of monkey-custard heroes parading the streets of Islington, doing everything in their "power" to ensure TO1AW and Stan remain! SOD OFF JABBA

Yep - who the fuck would want horrible old Alisher and his supposedly dodgy Uzbek cash eh, when you can have the king of the underperforming franchise ! Apparently though The Cook has explained himself to everyone and justified Red Wanktion's actions that day - even though not a single poster on here was around to hear the explanation.

When I think back to the most cringey moments in our history, She-Ra and her rug munching sister holding that banner aloft at OT when we got pasted 8-2 would be up there.....but The Cook and his I Luv AW chums displaying Hate Usmanov will forever rank above that. I bet those same people who were happy to whip up their xenophobic frenzy were mortified when The Stoke Three dared to boo TO1AW after our worst start to a season in 32 years.

Glad we're all living the dream without Jabba

When I first read that I disagreed because Kroenke didnt take over until 2011 .... and by that time Wengers shortcomings had been on display for well over 2 years. I also thought that if Wenger could do tactics, sufficiently motivate his players and use the vast resources at his disposal to build a well balanced side ... then we would never need to mention Kroenke.

But thinking about it again ... you're right. We're fucked.

Stan Kroenke is a massive hindrance to the future of our club because nothing interesting will happen ever again while he is here. And even when something happens to Stan we've got fucking Josh Kroenke waiting in the wings to take over.

The Welbeck admission AFTER the window closes shows what Arsenal FC are all about.

Underhanded, dishonest shysters. No concern regarding fans. Wonga, Gazidis, Kranky.......it's just money money money. I cannot believe the greed these w*nkers show, they are ALL as bad as each other. Arsenal are a joke with this management team and deserve nothing but it's the fans who ultimately suffer. What a shame it's turned into this.

It has reached the stage that I want their sneaky underhand approach to come back and haunt them. I hope a Stoke beat us and we suffer as many losses as possible to ensure we don't finish top 4. I'm sure il get over the lack of the annual wankathon in May. This is for the greater good, as the more this shit continues without consequences, the more it encourages the club to treat the fans like idiots.

Can't wait for next Fridays press conference.
Surely a respected journo has to ask these two questions.
a) when did you know Welbeck was to have his knee surgery?
b) did this not influence your transfer policy?, its not a case of finding a better player, but just loaning a striker.
I'm sure even QPR could have been tempted financially to loan Austin for 6 months, as an example.
Would not be surprised if the press are told Welbeck is not to be mentioned.

How there's anyone left with a even modicum of respect for the lying, sneaky deceitful bastard is beyond me. I detest him.

There is a saying that you get what you deserve in life and it is very hard to dismiss the feeling that this blind adulation of wenger doesn't deserve to be continually kicked in the bollox like this - if any person feels that they are beyond reproach and that everything they say will be taken as gospel, then you couldn't really blame them for being dismissive of their followers by continually lying to them can you ?

It's cult like their devotion of him. There is absolutely nothing he could do that would sway their opinion that he is the only man to manage the club. I can't even have a 2 minute conversation with one of them before my heads starts to explode, it just beggars belief. How can so many fans be so content with what's going on? It's truly bizarre.

Absolutely delighted I turned down a ST this summer.

The thought of giving £1300+ to an organisation that doesn't appear to be doing all they can to succeed and instead have a "bare minimum" philosophy to securing top 4 leaves me angry and frustrated but to add paying through the nose to that is a non starter. I'll continue to stay away thanks.
