8 million a year for that?

great stuff, I saw Flamini on the bench and just chuckled quietly to myself.

Joel Campbell better slow down, at this rate, he'll surpass his yearly Arsenal game totals in three weeks.

is Kjellstrom coming in January?

bad game for Striker Giroud, but hey, must've been the soft pitch...

Aww c'mon fairs fair, a broken back is easy to miss and our Medical Staff were already over worked with Diaby, Rosciki, Wilshere etc :barscarf:

Obviously Wenger is no longer the great draw he once was in the transfer market. Ian Wright is totally correct to state that the pursuit of Benzema was a red face event, I mean why on earth would he leave Real to join Arsenal??

Why would anybody leave champion league contenders to join chump league also rans.

Yet it is unimaginable how nobody could be found to better the like of Giroud, I mean seriously!?!?!?

There can be little attraction for any ambitious player to join Arsenal and that in itself is a shameful reflection upon the reign of Wenger!

Fair enough three good signings, but we won't go into the scores of no hopers he has brought to the club

Transfer dealings are scandalous and an embarrassment to the club, Higuain, Sanchez and Benzema for example
as Wrighty said you sound out the target first to see if he wants to join......

If you watched last nights game can you defend Wengers team selection and tactics please, would like to see some rational behind it

Is Ozil really a name? Or the dregs of RM who would never get into their current side.

Last night summed up the lack of pressure Wenger is under at the club. He changes half the team knowing that if it goes wrong, then he will have no one to answer to, as silent Stan couldn't give a fuck. Then, when the game is over, just lies his ass off about being unlucky and knows that the spineless media wont call him out on his bullshit. He should apologise to the fans that travelled to Zagreb, and to Zagreb themselves for the lack of respect he showed with his team selection.

LG i'm sorry but you're being a bit disingenuous and using a straw man argument there. The fact is that those three players were not first choice players at their clubs and were almost guaranteed first team football moving to the Arsenal.

The point that was being made is that world class first choice players are highly unlikely to come to the Arsenal these days due to the perceived lack of ambition within the club.

If Bayern, Barca, Real, Juve, Chelsea or even Man City were to come in with a bid for world class player who is under contract they would be much more likely to accept a bid from those teams because they are proven winners over the last 5-10 seasons. Something that unfortunately and embarrassing we are not, and please don't even try to use the FA cup wins as a reason to encourage players to sign for us. :banghead:
