Simeone tops my list as well. For no other reason than he would hopefully chin Mourinho on full time at the bridge after we've finally won there again.augie wrote:green gooner wrote:Watching Athletico last night I have to say their manager is one man I want. Greizmann would be a great addition too but his value will now rocket sky high.
I watched them at the weekend and thought that greizmann was woeful v barca and didn't even look interested![]()
Have to say that I too would like to see simeone as manager of The Arsenal - it might be a short marriage and it might be a fiery marriage, but at least he would shake things up and it will be exciting as long as he sticks around
Laughing Gooner I put it to you is anything ever Arsenes fault??LaughingGooner wrote:Three namesgreen gooner wrote:Obviously Wenger is no longer the great draw he once was in the transfer market. Ian Wright is totally correct to state that the pursuit of Benzema was a red face event, I mean why on earth would he leave Real to join Arsenal??
Why would anybody leave champion league contenders to join chump league also rans.
Yet it is unimaginable how nobody could be found to better the like of Giroud, I mean seriously!?!?!?
There can be little attraction for any ambitious player to join Arsenal and that in itself is a shameful reflection upon the reign of Wenger!
Czech
Ozil
Sanchez
But let's not get the facts in the way of a boring story lol

The seasons after Ozil left Madrid and Sanchez left Barca they both won he CL.They were boh surplus at both clubs. As for Ozil we would be lucky to get half of the £42m back we paid for him

These days? if Cech, Ozil and Sanchez don't meet your criteria, which "world class first choice players" have ever joined Arenal?GoonerMuzz wrote: The point that was being made is that world class first choice players are highly unlikely to come to the Arsenal these days due to the perceived lack of ambition within the club.
