Chavs season re-launch

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That's the worst possible game. We lost and Wanker has excuses and his media luvvies will all rally round him.

Game undoubtedly changed with the sending off of Gabriel

Kosceilny should have gone down when Costa hit him in the face, indeed had ever right to that was a sending off offence.......therefore getting one of there players sent off

Too nice, or naive probably, or badly coached.......

Thats was a missed opportunity one which any of their players would not have turned up the offer

As for Tactical set up was strange, in the first half there was no width to the Arsenal attack, wide spaces on the right with no one there, relying solely on Walcott to make a run against a massed defence.

So would say again overall Wenger got it wrong following up from the debacle in mid week

I don't know why I even thought why the outcome might be any different.....

Personally I find it very hard to criticise the performance today other than the rag doll defending for the first goal - but hey ho, much better to have some pleasant chaps pave the wave for Zouma to score rather than commit the mortal sin of treading on someone's toe eh ?

Wenger picked the exact starting XI I would have chosen with the probable exception of The Ox for Ramsey. Our best back four was out today and I'm gutted that the Big Soft German will be back as Gabriel sits out 3 games. Still, his nice personality and refusal to bite back will be just what we need up at resurgent Leicester and at the Lane in midweek in the cup we can win. Chavs had 20 decent minutes leading up to half time but apart from Pedro nipping in behind Monreal I never felt they were threatening - a few shots from the edge of the area and no more

Dean ruined the game. Gabriel's not perfect in his reaction but if any of you have played the game and seen someone waving a card trying to get your mates sent off and trying to throw their weight around and cheat and intimidate....and haven't reacted at all....then well done to you all, the saints that you are. How anyone can condemn Gabriel and ignore Costa's antics and Dean's even worse refereeing is mortifying. Costa typifies exactly why I wouldn't watch a Spanish football match if you paid me to go to Barca for the whole weekend all expenses spared - a devious, cheating c.unt who serves only to deceive referees and get opposition players sent off. He'd be right at home with Dani Alves, Busquets and all those other cheating tossers who everyone spunks off to on Sky every Sunday night.

Fair play to the travelling Gooners who were in excellent voice and gave that cheating prick endless stick throughout the second half. I'm sure the cardigan wearers amongst the newbie fan base will tell you to be much more angry with our own player though

It was a good, interesting contest until the sending off.

I just find selfish behaviour like Gabriel showed to be inexcusable. What's more important, trying to get one over Costa by standing on his toes when the ref is stood next to you? or trying to win the game?

Some footballers are so immature it's ridiculous. It was embarrassing and a real shame as it ruined the game as a contest.

Diego Costa is a prick though and we should have done more to get under his skin second half. He was a time bomb ready to explode again but we didn't do enough to rattle him. Nor did we put pressure on the ref.

We are a strange team. Naive, too nice and lack streetwise.

Frustrating.

Totally ferked off with useless tactics, no leadership, no ambition, indiscipline when we should know what is coming, manure will do exactly the same. Wenger is not a manager he is an accountant. 10 years behind the times. It cannot continue but it will. I feel i can say hand on heart i reckon my ST is not getting renewed. I cannot justify paying nearly £1500 for what! FA cups, not good enough!!!!

we are a very unintelligent side, no street smarts or anything- and you need that when you play such a bunch of cynical cheats like chelsea. fabregas and costa were fucking embarassing today.

oh well, another day closer to wenger leaving The Arsenal.

How the fuck can people blame Wenger for that?
2 red cards and a deflected own goal. Nacho lost his man at the far post.
The ref was awful how the fuck did Costa stay on the pitch?
Gabriel and carzola straight reds when ivanovic and costa got away with a lot more and lot worse.
Costa should have got sent off for assault on Kos. He goes off Gabriel would have not been sent off.
Some people need to get a grip on here.
