Scum away (Capital One Cup)
Re: Scum away (Capital One Cup)
Hoping for 3rd defeat on the bounce...this season is a dead duck....that's an embarrassment in itself, but I'm hoping for a pressure building defeat....lose 3....with Leicester waiting in the wings....things could be really toxic before olympiacos decide they too can have a pop.....screw the season its a lost cause...just get Le Fraud out!!!!!

You're a mug if you hope we ever to lose to Tottenham, nothing more need be said.xgtdec wrote:Hoping for 3rd defeat on the bounce...this season is a dead duck....that's an embarrassment in itself, but I'm hoping for a pressure building defeat....lose 3....with Leicester waiting in the wings....things could be really toxic before olympiacos decide they too can have a pop.....screw the season its a lost cause...just get Le Fraud out!!!!!

Re: Scum away (Capital One Cup)
Does this cup fixture count in the red card suspension for Cazorla and Paulista?
While I openly invite added pressure on Wenger, I could never hope we would be beaten, but I do expect us to come up short in this game, sadly.
Ospina
Debuchy...BFG...Chambers...Gibbs
Ramsey... Arteta...Flamini
Campbell...Giroud...Iwobi.

Both suspended for this game,if it was a CL game they would be able to play.

Re: Scum away (Capital One Cup)
This and to a lesser extent the Chavs, are the two games for me where the Wenger stuff goes out the window. Beating the *word censored* is all that matters. I'll take no pleasure in having to criticise him yet again if we lose to them

For the greater good!! I won't like it just the same as you won't but it's gotten to the stage where a horrific run is the only
Thing that will have le fraud under more intense pressure, I'd get him out by any means possible because if we don't....we are in for a lot more Derby dissapointments!!
Re: Scum away (Capital One Cup)
I see some people still genuinely believe that Wenger is going to be forced out of this club in some sort of coup. Even after all these years. Right-o then.

Re: Scum away (Capital One Cup)
this is the way I see it.
as Arsenal supporters we all surely will support the club v the scum on Wednesday.
BUT I can see xgtdec's point as we have potentially more to gain by losing this match than winning it (le tool has never won the league cup and never will)
the fact is we are in THE period of the season where le tool can be placed under more pressure than ever before.
the next 2 league games are difficult to say the least for our fragile team. I mentioned this on another thread about a month ago about the possibility of losing 4 in a row - zagreb, chelsea, scum, leicester (yes we really are that predictable) and how the pressure on le tool could be huge for the Man United game in early October. This could well happen and it would be the perfect stage for any protest against the club. it will be now or never for this season because I am sure we will soon get back to our usual routine of win win lose, win win lose to get 4th place again.
so Wednesday is a win win situation - win and I am happy, lose and the pressure on le tool increases further

probably not but there is just as much likelihood of Arsenal winning the league titleRobin_L wrote:I see some people still genuinely believe that Wenger is going to be forced out of this club in some sort of coup. Even after all these years. Right-o then.

How the fuck are people hoping we lose on Wed night
as much as I want to see Wenger step down I would never wish a defeat on the team and especially not to these c/unts . As bad as the Chelsea defeat was then losing to this lot is ten times worse.

You might not be at your best right now but Arsenal still have more than enough to beat which is the worst Spurs side (on paper) that I can remember in a very long time. And there has been loads of them!

Because people want the groundhog day to end and are willing to sacrifice short term joy to attain that.REB wrote:How the fuck are people hoping we lose on Wed nightas much as I want to see Wenger step down I would never wish a defeat on the team and especially not to these c/unts . However, even though in the cold light of day that argument makes logical sense, I know the vast majority of people saying that will be kicking every ball and desperately hoping that we win whilst the actual game is going on as that is just how football supporters work.
I want us to win anyway, it's the scum which is enough on it's own, but particularly as losing a game like this has zero impact on Wengers job security!

This is what Wenger has done to the fan base, fans hoping there team will loose against the scum
I strangely can understand it, give me another couple of months and will probably be joining them
Re: Scum away (Capital One Cup)
I just think that a win on Wednesday...or indeed just the next time Arsenal win a game just serves to reset the timer on wenger in the never ending circle of all is forgiven as soon as we win a game, unfortunately and i cant convey in words how tough it is to say but a sustained run of losing games is our only option to build pressure on wenger!!
Im also not naive enough to think that would get him out and we really are in a case of something is better than nothing and this is something. But at some stage enough really and truly has to be enough!!
