LEICESTER AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Eh? why say that mate?
I'd second that. Why retarded? What a pathetic comment that was.

Cannot believe how quiet most of the match threads are this season - you talk about how quiet it is after a win, but there was only about 3 or 4 pages worth of comments during the match
Even things like looking for free links to watch the game has gone shockingly quiet - in previous seasons we would be inundated with help from lads watching the game on the internet, but this season nobody bothers putting up links and I'm not sure if it cos fcuk all people are bothering to watch the games on their laptops anymore :rubchin:

I don't Augie, get sick of looking for streams and having it freeze or too many pop ups.I got sky and Bt in for the season ,and most of our games are shown live,I get BT thru setanta ,so I get live games as well at 3 o'clock ,mind you with all the channels I have, our game wasn't on any of them lol.

I think it's partly because everyone knows the links now. I've used the same one for about 2 or 3 years.

As for posting during games... I only have one screen so if I'm reading the forum and posting then I'm not watching the game, so I watch the game and comment at full time. I guess most are the same.

But there's also less to moan about when we win. That's why the gator made an appearance against Chavs but not today.

I sometimes might look for a link to watch the game, but most of the time I cant be arsed cos of (a) the fucking pop up ads (b) cant hear the commentary with the noise the kids are making (c) internet quality dropping (d) a lot of these games are carbon copies of the previous games in that tactics and tempo are non existent.
Overall though I have to say that, most of the time, I find it more enjoyable on here - the banter and humour is usually the type of terrace wit that used to be the norm at football matches everywhere 8)

That new Kos chant is awesome. Could hear it being sung all the way back to KX.

Fair play to Leicester; it was either very brave or very stupid of them to go toe-to-toe with us for twelve rounds, but in either case it made for a fantastic game of football.

Sanchez was different class; Özil was effective and Walcott (much to RayC's annoyance, I'm sure  ) was a threat all game long. Even Giroud scored, for Christ's sake!

I'm a bit miffed as regards their opener, as we shouldn't concede from possession in their box, but I don't want to take too much away from Vardy because he finished it off exceptionally well. All in all, a great game with some very good goals and an important win.

Just watched the game. Thought we played our best football since last Spring. But that could be due to how LC came out and attacked and left them open at the back. Either way, it was a good game to watch.

Thought everyone played fairly well at least

Cech - 8
Bellerin - 8
BFG - 7
Kos - 7
Monreal - 7
Arteta - 7
Cazorla - 8
Ramsey - 6.5 (not his usual bad but still ineffective)
Ozil - 8.5
Sanchez - 10 :barscarf:
Walcott 8.5

And I think Wally has done enough to continue keeping the starting striker role. He certainly misses some sitters, but you can't argue with his goal scoring record when starting.

Watched it on Football first last night, I have to say i was impressed with Walcott . He played an intelligent game , thought his movement was excellent. Bit of a mad game but deserved win . Anyway nice to win and feel a bit positive again. some European tournament game on this week before the return of competitive football next weekend. Hopefully we don't all have reason to go back to being our miserable selves next weekend.
I have given up on watching on PC as the streams are dreadful , freezing all the time with multiple ads popping up.

Your wrong mate - I love it when an Arsenal player has a good game. In Theo's case he played OK today so I'm happy for him. Just want to see him produce this each week without missing too many chances or getting offside so much. Really enjoyed the game - open, clean & plenty of goals - just like the good OLD days !!. Also well played Leicester, they made a game of it. Now for Manure. :barscarf: :barscarf:
