Liverpool will likely finish in Europa League spots this year with a view on overtaking someone in the top 4 which won't be Arsenal - most probably, Man United.

I like Klopp and think that he would have done very well here considering that it wouldn't be a stretch to see us playing in the Dortmund way. Witnessing us pressing and breaking with speed for 3 quickfire goals left me thinking, this is what Klopp would do for Arsenal. It's a pity that that will be yet another false dawn before we resort to complacency mode against Watford.

I would think that klopp would view AFC as very much his type of club - it is a stable enviroment which will allow him to bring in and develop players without the expectation of having to win straight away.
Mind you when the day comes that we do appoint a new manager, how long without a trophy will the akb be willing to allow him ?

If the new manager doesn't win the PL or the CL in his first season the Wenger sheep will be in uproar.

Oh, the repercussions!

Yep :D Every mistake, every comment, will be pounced on. Dont even bet on him being given a whole season before being hounded out.

Wenger will be brought back as an emergency. And when he only manages a few more 4th place finishes, it will be hailed as a miracle because of the mess the previous manager left him

TeeCee wrote:Klopp won't improve Liverpoo immediately because they have a shit squad overall. But if he gets the kind of money Rodgers has spunked in the short time he was there I really do think Klopp will make the scousers serious challengers again. Klopp is a very good young manager who will only get better. By the time Arsenal are looking for a new manager, Klopp will probably be managing Barca or Madrid!

I think the above comments about the squad are important.
A number of posters seem to view Klopp as the messiah, who only has to touch down in Liverpool to créate a competitive team.

I think he's a good manager, but he has a very mediocre squad with no prospect of improving it until January (and we all know how difficult it is to buy quality in January, eh Arsene?).

The owners have spent 300+ million and have got Ings, Markovic, Lovren etc.
Even if he can do it, Klopp's going to need two or three years, a period of time during which the Victim's income will be a long way below the top 4 clubs.

My gut feeling is that they are now the Tottenham of the North, and like the Scum will forever reside in the shadows.

I like Klopp; but he'll soon find that the Dippers are a poisoned chalice. Good luck to him - but not too much.

I wonder what he'll make of 40,000 thieves signing for all of 5 minutes before a game; I'm sure it'll knock the atmosphere at the Westfalenstadion into a cocked hat.

Shit, man....

I've just noticed that; pretty decent typo if I do say so myself.

Hi,
I'm first of all happy if Klopp does not joing f****ing Buyern Munich!
Second I think Klopp will fit to the PL and I think he will fit 100% at LP!
I can understand that you are not happy but I think Arsenal missed chances because Arsene has a Long life contract :rubchin:  !
Klopp Impact at BVB was immediatley and I mean by that he came and the car shifted from first gear into fourth gear going down the higway fast and furious!
The Impact around the Club and supporters was right from the beginning and it took him only three years to built a winning squad but he did and he won 5 titles, the most a BVB Coach ever won in his leagacy and he defeated the strongest oponent Bayern in three direct clashes Championship 2011 and 2012 and Cup 2012. He developed Players from almost nothing to world class Player and some of them became world Cup winners 2014.
I think Klopp will take on the PL as he did the Bundesliga with BVB!
Cheers,
Thomas

Some of his quotes.
Hope the Translation works ;-)

1. At Dortmund football is not the most beautiful thing in the world. It's the main thing!
2. I watched my team this season in 18 official matches and found it 18 times brilliant!
3. What is this for an unbelievably brilliant club!
4. You ask me how motivated the players are? I can only make a statement about how
motivated I'm. And when you bottling that, then you come to jail when you sell it!
5. If it stinks of sweat - that's me. The game was so exciting!
6. I am - which is now a surprise - not stupid! I realize if I'm lucky. And the BVB is a
Gift!
7. We will use the pain and filth feeling after this disaster to help us improve!
8. To be BVB fan, is not a reason for a starting place in the team. BVB fans are we all!
9. The best playmaker in the world is counter pressing!
10. We're like a fresh wound, scatters someone in the salt. And it burns again and again!
11. My boys can play really well, but if they do not have the ball, they play, as they
could not kick it. Then they just want to defend it!
12. For us it was really hard today. In the city were perceived of 70 000 hot dog stands and
Beer stands additionally constructed. (The game before becoming national Champion)
13. If you had collected on the day the good fortune and had shot it out into the world,
then even China would have been grinning (after becoming champs)
14. I was excited just before graduation, because I was prepared like shit.
15. It's like so often in life. If the washing machine breaks down, the next day the dryer
ass. And then there also the television up the ghost (after loosing an important game)
16. For 40 years football will be discussed with the same criteria. And sometimes that is what I criticize.

I agree that he will have a big impact with Liverpool and their fans are as we speak making a marble statue of him (better not talk about where they got the marble from  )

I agree that I think he'll improve them but they still won't be a contender.
