I really think that any good form we show is in spite of Wenger not because of him at times. There is probably one or maybe two players who drag the rest of the team along and without them we are all at see :banghead:

There is no defensive culture at the club at all. We had three fucking experienced PL defenders out there today and the 2nd and 3rd goals would have been bad for a pub side to concede. Players standing unmarked in acres of space, players ducking out of challenges.

Fucking joke. I have some sympathy for the kids as they never had a hope out there, especially with us leaking at the back. Yet again we are suffering because Wenger has placed stock in players that have spent massive swathes of their careers with us injured. Wilshere and rosicky being prime examples but also Chamberlain, Walcott, Arteta, Welbeck and arguably Ramsey. Hence we have no strength in depth at all because they are predictably all injured. And the only two sick notes who played at full back might as well not have.

Arsene Wenger says none of the young players selected tonight are ready to play at this level.
9:56pm - 27 Oct 15

So why keep 70m in the bank then you deluded fool.

Yeah, here's the snippet from the post-match interview:

Sky: You had a number of young players in your side this evening, how did they handle the occasion?

AW: It was too high for them. They are not ready to play at this level - none of them.

Absolutely scandalous.

In fairness, injuries to Wilshere, Rosicky, Welbeck, Ramsey, Arteta and Ospina as well as Chamberlain and Theo tonight have made our squad look thinner that it is.

Yes, he could have played Cazorla, Sanchez, Coq and co. but I'm glad he didn't.

There's many reasons for spending money but it's not a reason I'd cite as why we played those youngsters tonight. That was down to injuries and sending the more advanced youngsters on loan.

Don't know what the fuss is all about. No one really cares if we progress or not, we're actually in the title race. Well played Wednesday. The better young players are all out on loan getting some experience. At least we beat Tottenham.

So our first team in waiting is not even championship level.

He had a shitload of international experience in that team and it is a disgrace that he chose to lay the blame at the young players
Btw why are they not ready to play at this level ? As commander in chief of EVERYTHING that goes on in the club, if the young players are not being developed properly, then shouldn't he have done something ??

Wenger has no respect for the art of defence and seems to teach the players the square root of fuck all.

What the fuck does he actually do for his £163K a week? Endless five-a-sides and passing drills? Tells them 'Go out and play'?

And this 'great with youth' schtick is a fallacy. Only Cashley and Wilshere in 19 years? The youth team is filled with pubbers and cherry-picked foreigners from other clubs that rarely make it here. Joke.
