Remi garde to be confirmed villa manager

Post by nut flush gooner »

Good appointment for Villa, if anyone can take them forward Remi can.

As usual clueless Villa fans say they don't want Garde they want someone like Nigel Pearson. Probably explains why their club is in a hole.

Best case scenario for him is he does enough to keep them up and finds himself another job by the end of next season.

Explain why ? Villa are in serious shit and have been for quite a while - would you want to bring in a manager that has never managed outside france, or would you rather bring in a manager that had done wonders in the same division as you but with a club much smaller than your own ? I always respected remi but he is being dropped into an absolute shit storm and in mid season too, which means that he hasn't even had the time to organise them with his methods like he would in pre-season. Now, because of the intensity of the English game, he will have fcuk all time to set them up his way as he will have a game every few days which means that preparing for the next opposition will take priority over any long term structural changes he wants to introduce.

I would say that it is a risky appointment for remi and villa

Villa have been fucked for years. He shouldn't have touched that job with a bargepole, IMO.

Good luck to him. He'll need it :barscarf:

I'm really hoping that Villa have a really good game tonight to celebrate their new manager. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Well that was a good start.

I was in a pub with 4 screens last night but still managed to ignore the entire game even playing pool and darts to avoid letting them invade my space, felt great !

As for Villa and Remi .................I can't seem to find a single shit to give about them  !
