Re: FC BAYERN AWAY
Wengers form against the top teams is similar to my golf form, off the tee.
I usually get the ball airborn, a good distance down the fairway, but not always straight.
Now and then I hit it straight off the sweet spot, and splitting the fairway, but for the life of me I don't know what I did differently.
At home v the Germans we work hard, close down, keep things tight, tonight we just threw in the towel.
Joel Campbell was actually comical trying to stem the tidal wave of attacks down our right, I wonder who Wenger will ask to play out there on Sunday.
I blame Thierry Henry, ever since he came along Wenger has been convinced every striker is a potential winger, even Bendy got a go at it.

We will win the last 2 against European giants Zagreb and Olympiacos - qualify in 2nd place and Wenger will be hailed as a genius.
We will then get rogered royally in the last 16 (as we always do) but this won't be Wenger's fault because defeats are never his fault.
We will then finish 3rd or 4th and repeat the whole fucking process again and again and again . . . . . . . . . .

Absolutely - it just shows how shit football is in the current era because we have suffered 3 embarrassing defeats but will still qualify, and we have suffered many shocking domestic defeats in recent years but always comfortably retain our top 4 place

Not fussed about the Ox, but if you don't think losing Wally is a blow then I think your hatred of him is clouding your judgment.Ray C wrote:QuartzGooner wrote:Really feel so much depends how quickly Walcott and The Ox get back to fitness.![]()

Maybe our players were taking part in some sort of elaborate protest about ticket prices. While the Bayern fans stayed away for the first 5 minutes at the grove, our lot took it to the next level by turning their hole to match for the full 90 minutes.

Glad we're pretty much out, hope that Zagreb turn us over in the next game so there is no Europa....more home games = more money. I want Kranky to suffer. No excuses if we're not in Europe!!..............except Wonga ALWAYS has excuses
Serves him right for not playing his best team in what he thought were 'easy' games.

Exactly - no shame in taking 3 points from the 2 fixtures against Bayern, they are immense. But piss-poor completely arrogant displays against Zagreb and Olympiakos did the damage.augie wrote:Robin_L wrote:If it makes you feel better blaming Wenger when we're losing to (probably) the best/2nd best team on the planet in amazing form whilst missing 8 players (wouldn't make any difference), then knock yourselves out.
This result was inevitable. Winning 2-0 in the home game was a bit daft, they were the better side comfortably too then, albeit not by this margin.
Is it ok to blame him for the earlier defeats in this group ? Those defeats are why we are in serious shit right now
I haven't seen the game yet so I don't know how bad we were, but it's true that Bayern are a class team. I do take issue with the suggestion that we had 8 players missing tonight - we had bellerin and kos missing and they are automatic first choices, but wally, ramsey and the ox are rotated players at best.
And the fact that nobody really blinks an eye at us shipping in 5 is a story in itself. I don't care who we are playing, we should not be taking a drubbing on the scale we did last night. Unfortunately we have now been sanitised towards such things.

Re: FC BAYERN AWAY
The Big German Vagina was a disgrace again last night. Turning side on to deflect a grass-cutter into his own net. Fucking pussy. Then later he raised his hands to protect his face from a slowly bouncing ball, risking giving away a penno - and the look of terror on his face was shameful.
TA6, Uncle, Nutty - those lads need to take the big pussy aside and explain that you are supposed to throw yourself in front of the ball, not turn your fucking back on it.
Worse was the cheek of the big vagina then saying post match that we "were not brave enough"!!! What the absolute fuck??!! YOU were not brave enough you lanky fucking girl! AGAIN!!
Giroud had a good game in extremely difficult circumstances and his chest trap and volley was brilliant with two defenders on him. Ozil was better than everyone on our side put together.
Joel Campbell looked like he was blowing after 30 minutes.
Is the fucker unfit or something?

Thought exactly the same mate. Ozil looked bright, Giroud made a good contribution and took his goal fantastically and Joel Campbell ran his socks off for about 15 minutes.
Mertesacker is a fucking coward. It's galling to have to watch him come out and give his annual "we need to learn lessons" speech. The bloke is fucking finished but you can bet that in 15 months time he will still be first choice.

Disagree with me by all means, but explain why, instead of posting an insult.
Did you watch the match last night?
Did you notice our relative lack of pace?
The Ox is very rough around the edges, would be on the bench for me not a starter, loses possession too often, but he has got a bit of oomph about him and is not afraid to have shot.
And Theo, whom you clearly have a hatred of, has improved a lot and has a good goals to games ratio.
No one claims he is the new Messi, and he does have quite a lot of injuries, but he is an important player for us.
He is a good bloke too.

Apparently though, it's ok to lose 5-1. Whatever happened to the "cannot compete" with teams who have more money?
