Let's all laugh at Chelsea

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They were obviously desperate to get rid of him for some reason. International corporate law firm based in London - hardly a client-loser and wouldn't have been difficult at all to brush it under the carpet.

He's got a point though. They really are scum. Perhaps if he'd prefaced it with the word 'murdering', he'd have been ok.

There are actually quotes from Liverpool fans agreeing that it would be a welcome addition to acknowledge their ongoing battles. Unbelievable.

My favourite is the bloke who references the losses at Heysel - for a start that would involve acknowledging that it happened, and secondly I don't recall too many Liverpool fans being lost.

Although in hindsight he was probably referring to the unjust decision to award the penalty to Juventus.

Lost in the horror of the weekend was the marking of the 30th Anniversary of Heysel by Belgium and Italy at what was Heysel Stadium. A minutes silence before the game and a stoppage in the 39th minute to mark the disaster.
I imagine there will be Liverpool fans needing councilling this morning or maybe not as Heysel didn't happen or if it did it was caused by Cockneys

Fabregas has come out and said that a move to Madrid nearly happened multiple times in his career.

Which reading between the lines means that before securing a move to his boyhood dream club he was angling for a move to Madrid.

Why would they stage a 30th anniversary game for heysel in November ? :? I know the timings of domestic league would prevent them staging it on exact date, but surely the could stage it at a time that isn't 6 months after the actual date ??

Not sure if it was a match to commemorate the 30th Anniversary or they just held the tribute because of the two countries involved.
