Reports coming out that Calum Chambers is going to start in midfield. That's a move that could either make or break him at the club, the last time he played there he wasn't exactly a revelation.

Last season there was an outpouring of shock that no English club had reached the champs league semi's..........can you imagine the reaction if 3 of the 4 English clubs get demoted to the Europa league at the first hurdle ?

That would be a strange decision to play him in such a high pressure game in a white hot atmosphere in a new role, but then again anything possible with Wenger suppose......think it will be Flamini

The RNLI will have to be fucking scrambled by the time I'm through celebrating tonight. Scented candles lit, bubble bath at the ready, the missus and junior rodders evicted for the evening and my pecker is primed for a pummellingSteveO 35 wrote:I hope Rodders' neighbours are taking similar precautions to mine. I've warned them all of a flood that will make Cumbria look like a ripple if we win by two clear goals and secure a last 16 pasting in February !

I don't even think I'll make it through the champions league anthem without erupting

Bit like Sanogos start V Bayern thenrodders999 wrote:Reports coming out that Calum Chambers is going to start in midfield. That's a move that could either make or break him at the club, the last time he played there he wasn't exactly a revelation.

Agree though with Augie its got 3-1 written all over it, get out of jail again. The pressure may again be off a bit with manures mess, but a glorious romp to a Bendy hat trick and a hat trick of Draxler assists V Wolfsburg beckons.

surprised anyone will think we will win tonight, people see it as a wenger get out of jail free. i think the mancs tooks all the attention of us and put it on english clubs in general last night. I see us getting beaten and more shit about coefficients being spouted, with wenger being ignored.

Dont forget Campbell will be giving a team talk on their strengths and weaknesses, just as he did when they visited us

Re: Olympiakos Away Match Day 6
They'll just shut down our one form player (Ozil) and take the low-scoring draw. Won't be many goals in this, defo not 3 for us.
Even if we get one really early like Bayern or fairly early like Monaco.

gonna lose,thursday/sunday here we come

Re: Olympiakos Away Match Day 6
I know we don't always hold onto a lead, but it's vital that we score first. Give them something to think about and give them a few dithers. If they score first and shut up shop it will be a more nail biting night than it's already shaping up to be.
Come on Arsenal.

We are proud holders of the One Final Reached in Eighteen Champions League Seasons Trophy, don't you knowBFG4 wrote:Wenger wont stop this week referring to his supposed great record in the CL. This great record is getting out of the group stage which usually means not being good enough to win the group, but being less mediocre than two other teams who shouldn't be in the competition in the first place. No mention of the fact that we have been knocked out in the last 16, 5 years in a row. At this stage success is what Wenger thinks it is, and although I want us to win tonight, I wont be overly disappointed to see Wenger fail.

Wenger is 'great with youth', whatever that meansrodders999 wrote:The under 19's are getting their holes handed to them by Olympiakos I see.

Wenger is the luckiest man in football. The press have never dug deeply enough and exposed him as The Old Fraud he has becomeHenry Norris 1913 wrote:surprised anyone will think we will win tonight, people see it as a wenger get out of jail free. i think the mancs tooks all the attention of us and put it on english clubs in general last night.
