As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Christ, we made hard work of that - should have been out of sight but let down by some wayward finishing before letting Citeh back in. That minor (and recurring) criticism aside, what a crucial three points that could prove to be.
Two excellent goals and some of the best counter-attacking from us that I've seen in years. Ozil was sublime, he was just like a puppet pulling everybody else around him. Rode our luck a bit at times but on balance thought we did enough, for all their possession they created relatively few clear-cut chances and just hit across aimless ball after aimless ball from decent positions.
Pity that Ramsey squandered chances but we looked far more threatening and had far more pace in attack with him in the side. It's a far better balance with him and Ozil in the middle than with Cazorla in there - no coincidence that we haven't seen anywhere near the form of 2013 from either until recently. He has been getting better every week and looks a far cry from the dithering fool of earlier this season.
Can we stop this Gibbs experiment? It doesn't work. He comes on and contributes nothing defensively whilst offering nothing going forward.
Yaya Toure is such a waste of talent. Utterly ridiculous finish and after that we couldn't get anywhere near him. I'd go as far as to say that if we bothered to put the effort in every week they would almost be nailed on for the title.

Delighted with the win even if was nerve wracking at the end. We looked knackered at the end and I thought we did invite the pressure on a bit. The four point cushion over City could be vital. This is such a winnable title.
there is simply no excuse not to win the league this year, the league is so incredibly weak
Wenger was the only manager in the top 5 Euro leagues not to buy an outfield player so he must've been happy with his squad and now, sitting 2 points out of first at Christmas with Leister being in first and just defeating his biggest competition in City in a 'six pointer' there are NO excuses not to win the league.
anything less should be, but won't be, considered utter failure.
