To buy someone better than coquelin is to admit that coquelin isn't at the required level and there is no way that le cock will admit that the guy he scouted, purchased and trained isn't good enough Instead you buy a player at the same level and proclaim that you now have two top quality players and talk about having competition for places is great for the team

Even for Wenger it's a stretch to suggest we have internal solutions. In the defensive role, as well as Coquelin we have tried Flamini, Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla and even Chambers and Oxlade-Chamberlain - waiting with baited breath to see who we could possibly find to play there next.
