Bournemouth at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We should win but this team is no different than any of the past 10 seasons under Wenger. We may win this one, and the next 3, but we'll bottle it at some point so fuck it.

Someone has to win the league. It's likely to be Man City but if Kompany can't stay fit then they will lose another few games themselves. I honestly think whoever wins this league title will only get about 70 points.

Yes they do, but do we really care what they do ? We are Gooners and really only focus properly on what our team does. We expect and demand more and that has nothing to do with the prices we pay - losing because you aint good enough is acceptable, but losing because the team and manager are gutless, lazy and too arrogant is totally unacceptable  We should be handing out beatings to the likes of Southampton, Norwich and the baggies cos that is what teams going for the league do - that has nothing to do with arrogance but is from a genuine assessment of the quality of both teams. When we are then torn apart by teams that other teams have no probs beating, it leads to the inevitable backlash of anger and frustration, and it is totally deserved.

We will win this tonight and probably with a scoreline of 2-1 or 3-1 - what I don't want to hear or see afterwards is big bold statements from le cock, wally or the BFG lauding up our mental abilities that unable us to bounce back in style from the previous game, or hear about how freak results like the last one happen. Yes they do happen but when you also look at the recent results that I referred to above, then they can not be referred to as a freak or a blip

I agree with Augie here  city, chavs and manure have all bottled games this season big style but they have all won league titles recently.

This is the exact reason our players should be more focused and up for every game knowing they have a real chance to win the league. Saints were in awful form but made us look absolutely awful, our boys (and that's what they were) should be ashamed of themselves but they won't be.

I could handle that result if I thought for a second that it would convince Wenger to strengthen this month but again he won't.

Anyhow onto the game, I think it will be a narrow victory 2-1.

We can't seem to hammer teams any more and that again shows the lack of killer instinct.

what the other teams do is completely irrelevant, its no way to justify how piss poor we are at times especially as we are the only top team that is settled,we should be kicking on and leaving everybody else in our wake as they try to get to grips with new managers/systems etc.

Wow. Chambers and Ramsey in the midfield. This could be a disaster.

Gibbs is made of glass, chambers is utter shite, and the ox has regressed so much he gone back beyond the "has potential" stage, its a fucking disgrace that those are the options available to a club like arsenal!!! Wenger is a cancer!!

now because of the result at vicarage road where spurs have humbled the in form watford at HOME, then only a 6-0 result is acceptable as then it will be goal difference advantage (as well as 4 points) to us after the humiliation at southampton. bournmouhth is a team that we will simply swat aside but MUST be by 6 goals anything else is epic failure.
