The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

42million for Aubameyang?

A couple of years ago, before he moved to Germany, AW was said to be looking at him and was vilified on these very pages. We could have saved ourselves 32 million.

And I am still not convinced if I'm honest - there are at least half a dozen Dortmund players that are better than him, and personally I would rather spend the money on marco reus

Anyway we all know that it is just another bullshit rumour that is as likely to happen as me winning the lottery

Couple of decent purchases this month and that Champions flag could be flying on top of our stadium come August

Coquelin forced back towards the end of January before picking up another muscular injury which ends his season.

Cazorla to suffer a setback and be "not quite ready" for several games in a row before coming back mid-March and forcing Ozil out wide.

Arteta to suffer several more injuries this season but still get a new contract.

Welbeck not to be seen at all in 2016.
Rosicky?

It's being reported that Bojan has a 10 million buy out clause in his contract.

He's not turned into the megastar that FM forecast, but he's doing well at the Orcs and his movement and finishing is better than anything we've got at the moment.

Might be worth a punt.

Again we have enough of that type of players and, even if he is a very good player, he would not fill a position of need for us

we need a goalscorer, not a flicky fancy creator...although i dont rate him its hard to ignore what hernandez has done at bayer...that said we need a pacy strong centre forward who can hold it and provide an outlet and run onto ozils thru balls

You've defeated your own argument I'm afraid.

They have probably got their info from the previous rumour posted on here, it just gets regurgitated enough times to become credible.

Elneny should have a better engine on him than Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky, all of whose contracts are up in the summer according to Transfermarkt.

For me it would be a mistake letting all 3 of them go at once though, big hit in experience to take. Rosicky needs to do his coaching badges with us.

Why does Rosicky need to do his badges with us? :?

The bloke might as well have done them over the last two years for all the football he's played.

Also think Aganetha or Annafried might be worth a punt
