Isn't it strange that our 'working 24/7 talented scouting team' never spotted him.augie wrote:Former ath Madrid DM Mario suarez is apparently close to joining Watford - he is a proven DM and should be a more appealing signing than the Egyptian cos he is certainly too good for a club like Watford.

Hilarious how long it's taking to officially confirm the signing of the Egyptian farmer from Switzerland
Almost as if the club feels the longer you draw out such a simple transfer, the more grateful the masses will be! I see new signings Welbeck, Arteta and Cazorla have curiously been timed as coming back in a few weeks....yep, total coincidence it clashes with the transfer window almost closing

strangely enough I have a feeling they might all suffer "setbacks" during the first week of February

Re: Is it time for a Jan Transfer Window Thread Yet?
And with the exception of cazorla, will anyone give a fcuk or notice if the rest of them suffer a setback ?

200 million in the transfer kitty from last summer (unspent), yet Wenger still goes out and 'spends' 5 million on an Egyptian no mark!!!
(we can't having the Egyptian Vieira killing Coquelin can we) ?

On ssn last night they did a breakdown of the stats (passing rate, stamina etc) of coquelin and the Egyptian guy, and guess what......they were almost identical in their marks

As I have said on numerous occasions, le cock will not bring in superior players to the one's he has nurtured from a young age, but instead brings in players of a similar level to compete
We rarely buy to upgrade, and this mentality will ensure that we NEVER win another league until the senile old c.unt

From the fraud who gave tons of appearances - and £50-60K a week contracts - to Denilson, Diaby, Almunia, Bendtner, etc...

Re: Is it time for a Jan Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Hopefully the Egyptian can come in and offer us some much needed cover, however signing someone that will probably need most of the month and well in to February to get up his match fitness is rather pointless to me

the new Norwich signing

Re: Is it time for a Jan Transfer Window Thread Yet?
I Know its The Daily Star ....but is this really top top quaility .
Nigerian striker Austin Amutu claims he’s 'not far away' from sealing a transfer to Arsenal.
The 22-year-old, who currently plays for Israeli side Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona, told AfricanFootball: "It has been my dream to play for Arsenal, they came for me while I was at Warri Wolves and I think it was money that truncated the whole thing.
"By now I should be playing for Arsenal or any team in England.
"I am happy that a coach like Wenger has interest in me, still keeps his eyes on me and has not lost interest.
"I believe I am not far away from my dream of playing for Arsenal."
