The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What we got a whole team working 24/7 on this one :D

Made me chuckle the quote from our scout in Poland, clocked up a record amount of miles watching players in Poland and then recommending to Wenger in the last year

Fuck. Hope it's not Madrid, Barca or Bayern making a late bid. :worried:

Not being a football person, some may assume me highly impertinent to question the methods of the Clueless One, but would it not have been a good idea to bring in any new signings in time to at least give them a taste of the Emirates this Saturday?
Rather them throwing them into one of the next 3 potential banana skin games in the league.
In any case can you imagine some of the lesser used players pleading with him to give them another chance and not push them further down the pecking order, with him being such a soft touch with under performers I can also imagine him being swayed by it.

Could be why we have internal solutions. To combat that dirty dizzying prices. And the financial doping too. Let's not forget the financial doping.

Redarmy wrote:Yes its paper Bullshit....Looks like only possible signing is Elneny....but with the Arsenal you cannot even bank on that

Convenient update from Wenger saying Rosicky and Wellbeck to return soon, hence no need to spend any money

25 hours a day, 8 days a week :barscarf:

I almost feel sorry for our scouts having to travel all over Europe to scout a pub league player 50 times - and then TOF doesn't sign them anyway. Excellent use of resources there.

I've just seen that on the BBC, I'll believe it when I see it, could be a 'last minute ' hitch.
