Knew we would bottle it the moment we took the lead. A complete inability to maintain possession for more than 2 seconds in those last 30 minutes. It's almost like the players lack the mental strength to win the league

no tactics, no fucking desire, just bollockless backing off, no pressure and it comes from the fucking tumour in charge of our club that is infecting the rest of our fucking team with his bollocklessness. fucking put a tackle in ozil FFS
thats a bit harsh on ozil.his game isnt about tackling and hes done more for the team than any other player this season.thought joel Campbell was awesome.shame his legs went
tackling isn't his game? what team has ever won the league with a total passenger in midfield when their team doesn't have the ball? it's not just him, our team are fucking stupid. did you see walcott try and dribble for their first goal? we were fucking stupid all game. chamberlain did fuck all and I would have kept campbell on who was our MOTM

Agreed Walcott who was very poor throughout guilty for the first goal, loosing possession on the edge of the box was criminal, when all he should have done was clear it

He does this sort of rubbish every time. He never bloody learns.

yes poor his legs have gone adds nothing when he comes on sad to say

Purchasing a tough tackling centre midfielder is not a priority though ( still 2 weeks till the window closes)
Elneny fits that description, supposedly
Elney is not the tough tackling ball winner we need

He is basically a box to box midfielder who has a good engine

Abou is the King of Anfield.....we missed him today. Never forget that imperious display when we dicked them up there and Poldi scored his first for the club. Best midfield display I'd seen in years and none since have bettered it

Well what does it matter? He won't be coached anyway

Defence is a dirty word at TOF's Arsenal :banghead:

That was draining, thought we would hold on because we had got away with it, should have known better from experience. 2003 late goal up there cost us, last season also. Thought Cech could have done better for third goal certainly. He got a hand onto it and it wasn't brilliantly struck. We conceded stupid possession in the second half when we should have been killing the game, Ramsey , for me, was running into stone walls and it lead to the ball coming back at us too quickly. There in lies what I think will cost us a real shot at the title. Winners do not do that. Theo was lightweight and what the fuck was he up to for the first goal. Campbell on the other hand was outstanding, maybe he had to go off as he was burned out. Iwobi instead of Gibbs was surely the better option. Iwobi may have held up the ball.
Thought Giroud played very well, took a battering holding up the ball, but needed team mates around him quicker to pick up the scraps. Would have taken the draw before the game, would have taken it after 20 minutes but felt deflated by it in the end.

Thought Campbell, Monreal and Giroud were excellent.

Ozil had a mediocre game.

Walcott and Mert can fuck right off. Just fuck off and never come back. Seriously. Take Ox and Gibbs right along with you. All four of them are completely fucking useless. Beyond useless, they are a fucking hindrance to success.

The fucking substitutions are UNFUCKING REAL. How many fucking times, really, how many times do we have to see the same FUCKING THING.

Wenger can seriously find a 6 foot hole.

Only seen the last hour of the game (missed the first 4 goals  ) but tonight summed up the current AFC - teams that are winning leagues do not concede equalisers when there are only a few minutes to go in games  It again showed a complete lack of mental toughness to roll up the sleeves when needed  Of course every team is a mirror image of their manager - this brainless c.unt continues to make negative defensive minded substitutions when we are winning, and all it does is invite pressure on the team  I wouldn't bother whinging about the performances of any of the 3 subs used tonight, but I would seriously question the thinking behind taking off ozil when he is without doubt the best player we have at retaining possession

Wally again shows us why he isn't worth a fraction of the £140k per week that he is on - whoever his agent is, he should be the type of agent that the rest all aspire to, cos how he got that useless f.uck £140k per week is beyond me
At times in the second half our centre midfield was wide open - ramsey was gone awol and flamoney isn't good enough and is too easy for opposition teams to play around

This must be the biggest bunch of spineless twats to ever play for the club. The minute we got the lead, we retreated into our shells, its beyond pathetic at this stage. L'pool are awful, and to see them running around us like they are Barcelona, pisses me off more. Wenger summed up his tactical abilities(or lack there of) perfectly tonight. His idea of defending is to pull most of our team back into the box, and bring on the likes of Gibbs and Arteta to help with this plan :banghead: With the way the game was going, had we kept attacking, we would have scored again. On a sidenote, I think Cech has been excellent so far this season, but seems to get little or no criticism when he makes mistakes. Allens shot tonight was definitely saveable.

Seen a few reports that one of our fans got stabbed after the game this evening, anyone know if there is any truth in it ?

On balance a fair result and a some very encouraging signs, but come the end of the season those two points dropped will cost us dearly I fear.

Teams that win titles don't throw these games away - they win them!

Gutted and pissed off.
