As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
yes, the issue with added time is strange. most games the referee will happily blow up dead on time, or often before time in some cases. annoyingly the minimum time argument gets wheeled out but it's often not enforced. however when a team is pushing hard and getting lots of corners/set pieces, the time will get added on, if the ball is in play and the clock is running down a comfortable 2-0, the ref will get impatient and just blow up before time.
I'm presuming the extra minute was added on because everton scored in added on time, the everton player who scored then jumped into the crowd and then got booked for it ,I'm thinking the ref allowed for that, but the big problem is the refs never come out after the match to explain their decisions,I put that down to the coward Mike Riley who is the referees boss.
Give that man Pochettino a lifetime achievement award - top 4 in January, wow what a guy. Harry Kane for the Ballon d'Or and joined in the world XI by Eric Dier and Delle Alli.
My god, the commentators will need plastic pants if they keep this up
After vehemently speaking out against the use of video evidence, stating "human error is part of the game"...i wonder what Roberto Martinez thinks about that after todays offside equaliser???
Making it one win in 6. Absolutely astounding given that if you listened to any pundit 5 weeks ago you'd have heard they were DEFINITELY here to stay (I know they said the same about Everton, West Brom, Newcastle, Spurs, Southampton and Villa in the past but they really thought this time was different).
