As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Reduced Allocation for Sp*rs

Post by Ziegler1988 »

"Following incidents involving a minority of people in the Arsenal supporters’ section at White Hart Lane after the Capital One Cup match in September, the Arsenal allocation of tickets has been reduced for the Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, March 5 (kick off 12.45pm).
Both clubs, together with representatives from the Metropolitan Police and the Safety Advisory Group have decided that the front two rows of the Upper Tier in the visitors’ section of White Hart Lane should remain unsold. Therefore, the Arsenal allocation of tickets for the fixture is reduced to 2,700 from the usual 3,000."

I'm sure the club caved in easily on this and will do nothing next time they visit us despite them smashing up the toilets

We should close off the toilets to the away section next time we face them at home. That way they'll have to shit in their hands

isnt it that both clubs agreed to share costs of any ground damage, or was it each paid for the others, so they pay for smashing the bogs, we pay for taking down some bits of cardboard??

Don't they already shit in their hands and then throw it around a bit in tribute to their greatest ever player who fucked off at the first chance he got?

Just the usual pathetic tit for tat after they kicked up a fuss about 'reduced' FA Cup allocation at our place 2 years ago.

Anyone who was there knew this would happen, yeah it was a great night (rare this season) but at the cost to your season ticket, really?

They should have been outside the ground where hundreds of scum were using threatening behaviour and causing a breach of the peace
Too much effort for old bill to do much about that though

2 hours before kick off Herd had marched up from Bruce Grove and left a trail of destruction that even the super firm acknowledged. Old Bill caught off guard and don't want same to happen again.

To be fair id be more embarrassed about letting Mathieu Flamini score twice than about letting some old blokes smashing a few bus stop Windows.

Even when I was going it didn't seem like it is now. Even spent the pre match hours one year in, I think it was called "The Red Lion", between Bruce Grove and White Hart Lane.
