The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not that it matters to us, but still... :banghead:
Tomorrow at 11pm.

Have you ever been on here on a deadline day? If our Nat's bangers aren't your thing I wouldn't bother logging in tomorrow if I were you 8)
I have lurked in the past, so I am aware of your totally understandable fixation on Natalie Sawyer

She'll be highlight of our window by far. I hope you post photos of her for posterity Rodders.

Otherwise, I imagine there will be tumbleweed in this thread tomorrow. Surely the shortest transfer thread by far. We've all twigged that very little happens at our club.

True - 35 pages is a paltry offering.

As usual we are having a busy end to the window - trying desperately to offload. Wonder how much we have been paying Debuchy? Around 60k would be my guess.

The right back situation is a joke. I've always said that Jenks sadly is never going to make the grade but surely after getting a seasons PL experience last year the sensible thing would be to bring him back and at least get a season out of him as a useful deputy. Instead we don't loan out Chambers who is in dire need of experience and come summer will be faced with Jenkinson leaving after two pointless loan spells and a player in Chambers who hasn't progressed at all from the odd 89th minute sub appearance.

Jenks is out with a long term injury suffered very recently.

I agree that Chamber should go out on loan.Doubt if he'd come back either.

Ahh that glorious summer of foreplay with Higuain and Suarez which led to nothing but us penetrating Sanogo

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is out speaking to the media this morning - previewing Tuesday's home match with Southampton.

But today is transfer deadline day. What everyone wants to know is: Can you be sure Arsenal won't be signing anyone today?

Wenger: "Well, 100% is difficult to say, 99% yes. But you know always anything can happen. Somebody can knock at your door. If Lionel Messi knocks at my door at ten to six tonight I will not say please go back to Barcelona..."

Yes, ha ha you useless goon. What you'd more likely to say would be "are you absolutely certain that Barcelona want to sell you" before offering them £3m over a 36 month period, with Debuchy chucked in on loan

"My prediction is that this could be one of the most active January transfer windows that we’ve seen" :barscarf:

Happy Natalie Sawyer Day folks, the day where some poor sap from SSN is forced to stand outside the space bowl for 12 hours freezing his ball sack off despite the fact there is zero possibility of a signing.

Anyway here's our Nat's cumface to brighten up this sh1tfest....

Think we have all heard that bullshit response before   :banghead: :banghead:

Anyway let me say in advance, that I don't want to hear or read all bullshit excuses on here from those wenker apologists WHEN we blow the league again this season - never has a league fallen in our lap just asking us to win it like this one has, and all it would take is one or two proven quality players now that would take us ahead of the rest

Bar Peter Odemwingie, which is by far my favourite deadline day story ever -

Yep, Augie, and it's the usual bollox from Wanker. The usual vanity and arrogance. He is such a complete ego-maniac that he will never buy anyone new who could get us over the line, especially not in January, because then he won't get all the credit. Yet again, the old *word censored* is trying to show all and fucking sundry that he knows best and using the club to make his own stupid fucking point. It will all go tits up again, as it has for the last 10 fucking years because he's a shit manager whose ego gets in the way of him doing the right thing. Honestly, just piss right off and manage a national team.
