WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

To see the ball bouncing off his shins and out for a throw in is truely one of the most depressing sites in football. The guy is gonna retire a multi millionaire for being absolute pony at football. Unreal.

Why does even a simple,no pace 3 yard pass get tangle up between his legs. Then bounce out for throw in or re-bound to opp?.

Best position? Watching the match in a pub. Sitting down of course, wouldn't want him to get a strain injury standing for 90 mins.

I'm still going with "on the wing at Crystal Palace". :|

10 years of unfulfilled potential. What the absolute fuck? Yeah, yeah, he's a nice bloke and he is probably very marketable for jersey sales in China and Malaysia, and he speaks well. But what about the football part? Isn't a professional footballer supposed to be able to play football? :|

Does Crystal Palace deserve that though? I bet feo would score a ton of goals against us as we are so open at he back, he would use his pace against us.

Best Position? On the bench........................with a park team.

How he gets rewarded with a fat 5 year contract is beyond me. If he was at another top club he would really struggle to get a game.
He is fast, he can run quickly and he can run a bit more. That is Walcott summed up. 10 years of what?

It's an interesting question, Cas. I'm going to reply with; No. No, he wouldn't. One can't really score when the ball either get's left behind as one runs or if one has the first touch of a blind rapist.

He's not as fast as he was and he'll only get slower. Players who rely on pace are finished sooner.

He'd have been a superstar at a Europa league level team. He's never quite made the top level. A good footballer with amazing pace, who every couple of seasons for a half dozen games would have us all fooled that he was an amazing footballer. Jokes on us as hes rolling in it.

To say that you are being generous there is a massive, massive understatement - he is an athlete and not related to a footballer

The sooner this drip leaves the better - players like Grioud, whilst limited, play to their full potential and work and fight hard and are the ones that attract criticism whilst this fraud gets away scott-free.

3 passes in half an hour last night 3!!!!!! The bloke is a coward and does not deserve to play for Arsenal.

Agree with that, when you look at strikers, in which he says he is one, (that is open to debate by the way) they have to be brave, morally brave

Not scared to shoot, Not scared to miss, this bloke will never be a striker, he is still scared in his head long since thought it about him

Big hype merchant, looks the part does not deliver, £140k a week is THEFT, of course one of wengers love children so will ever get shot of him
