If they do win the league which I can't see them doing coz they are even bigger bottle jobs than us and they happen to win it at the swamp - I believe I am right in saying they will have equalled the amount of times we have won the league there :barscarf: :barscarf:

Fuck them. Have u ever seen Tottscum win the league ? Have u fuck.

A man with no fingers can count with his remaining digits on each hand the amount of times they've won the league

Anyway there's no 1 in the year so its all good. Mind that gap  Now I'm off to the local Itai for some lasagne

They've won 9 PL games out of 20 this season and despite harvesting tremendous amounts of luck with refereeing errors and lucky goals to pick up points are still 6 behind us despite us being underwhelming for most of the season.

Add to this that they will do their usual when the Europe League gets to the knockout stages and burn themselves out by playing full teams in tricky two-legged ties only to secure a last 8/16 exit.

Finally when have Spurs ever come out on top of a battle? Never. If they are in a fight for top four or whatever then they always end up getting edged out. Look at their fixtures in April - Liverpool (a), United (h), Stoke (a), West Brom (h), Chelsea (a). It's all set up for them to crash and burn.
Exactly right - and by April of course Pohettino would have burnt the entire squad out keeping up his proud track record from the Espanyol and Southampton days. In some ways it would be great for them to finish 4th hence granting him the freedom of Haringey and allow the media wankathon to take him all the way to OT to become the Plastics next manager.......then let the Spuds suffer the heartbreak of a CL play off exit

The reality of course is that they will finish 6th
not a matter of talking teams up for fucks sake, look at the fucking table now....or you still say they will finish 6th

Deluded as wenker

Fucking disgrace

If you think Chelsea winning the Champions League in 2012 was bad it will be nothing compared to them finishing above us. And you can multiply that by a 100 if they win the League.

Oh I agree it would be. But it simply will not happen. Trust me. They have a little spell like this every season and they bottle it. This season they have been lucky as well on so many occasions and lucky with form and lack of injuries to a few key players. Luck runs out. And their style of play will lead to drops in form and to injuries as it is unsustainable for a whole season. They will finish somewhere between 7th and 4th. I'll take anyone's money on that. 8)

Firstly let me say I hope with every fibre of my being that I am 100% wrong about what is to follow.

1. The league - Can they win it?
Yes they can, but I don't think they will. I'm still putting my money on Citeh personally. I do think they have more chance of it than us though.

2. Will they finish above us?
Actually I think this is the year they will manage to do it. Not because they're good but because we really are looking clueless at the moment. I don't think the NLD has ever been more important than the one coming up in 4 weeks time. If they beat us then it will be really difficult to turn it around. The thought of it makes me feel sick to the stomach but I'm bracing myself just in case.

I do think that their finishing above us would be the catalyst that gives many people exactly what they want most in the world though...................... a golden handshake for our manager!

Hmmm. How about a straw poll then.

Would you take spurs finishing above us (but not winning the league....as if  ) if it meant we got shot of Le Bell End in the summer?

For me it's a 1000000000000% YES.

Short term pain for long term gain.

You know, I actually don't think it would be, tbh... So many of our JCL fans don't give even half a shit about the NLD. Even on here, where we mostly have older Gooners who would have been to games in the 70's and 80's etc and would have experienced times where the NLD was THE most important two games in the season, we have people that profess not to care about the NLD. I don't think the vermin finishing above us or even them winning the PL would have any impact on Wenger's future. Once he gets that 4th place trophy the Board are happy. :|

This is my point - referring to the fact that they were 13pts ahead of us a few seasons ago, ignores the fact that we had a team then that were capable of making up that ground. With this team I wouldn't back them to catch them if they were 3pts ahead of us - I'm not sure if they will finish above us or not, but I am damn sure that it will be decided on how they perform more than how we perform.

Personally spuddy, I don't think finishing below them would result in the golden handshake - we have finished ahead of them for soooo many seasons that it will simply be shrugged off as a blip by the wenger apologists  In my opinion the only results that could see him sacked/retired, would be if the scum won the league (god forbid) or if we dropped out of the money motivated champs league.
Personally I still believe that the fans are the only one's that will see his time with us terminated, and I still 100% believe that it is possible if fans decided to act instead of just whinging

No need for name calling is there, even if u are a scum fan with all your bigging up of how good they are and how well they doing.

They only lost 2 games, so what? They are still only above a poor arsenal side on GD. What does that tell? They have a paper thin squad. Extreme luck. A manager who wears his players out season after season without fail whose teams drop off in the last quarter old seasons. The same will happen this season. Yes we are shit. But they are no better.
