Another one, this time for Eboue to the tune of Yesterday by The Beatles ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdCjaiXm ... ed&search= )...

The original lyrics are:

The idea would be that it would predominantly be sung by the fans on the opposite sides of the pitch to Eboue (ie Arsenal's left and/or behind the goal we're attacking). I know you could argue you're limiting the song to half the stadium but i think it could still work, especially as the Red Section (easily our most vocal fans) will be at the opposite side of the stadium to Eboue (the NW corner) for half the match.

I hated CC the band when they were on the go to be honest

. But I think 60000 singing the above would sound deadly!!

I'll deffo be trying to start this one off next season.

Have to say my favourite song of the past few years is still "Perry Groves World"

I remember it got aired ALOT in Paris last May, the best time being on the metro out to St Denis when we had a top sing off with the Barcawhores at the other end of the carriage.

When we burst into "Perry Groves World" they just shut up and listened.

Even the bemused (and slightly scared looking) French commuters relaxed and a few even hummed along.

Several of them phoned friends and held their phones up so their friends could hear us!!

im not sure if the video will show but if it does this is what we need to get all arsenal fans doing!! If we could achieve it it would be immense! I know the red action boys do it but we need everyone to do it!!

Cheers DB10, would love to hear it at the Grove if you manage to kickstart it. I'll probably only get to go to a handful of home games myself, but for the ones that i do that'll make at least 2 of us singing it!

I second that Mark, it really does look amazing. Can you imagine the stewards at the Grove trying to tell 60,000 jumping Gooners they have to sit down during the game?

Now if we could get the Club Level tier to join in that would be an achievement!

how about bringing some of the old songs back for the 70's and 80's
like

We had joy, we had fun
we had Tottenham on the run
but the fun didn't last
because the bastards ran to fast

or

we are the Arsenal the kings of the south
we hate the Tottenham because they are all mouth
we took the shelf the shelf was fuck all
the cannon will fire and the cockrel will falll
la la la la la la la Arsenal

There where loads in the 80s we dont use as Many people have either forgotten them or some dont know them as they where watching Middlesex cricket team back then

I think I may start a new post dedicated to old songs
