weekend matches 6th/7th Feb

Post by casgooner »

Citeh Leicester. Who do we want to win this match? I would have said Leicester two months ago, now I'm not so sure. They don't seem to be following the script that they have fallen away by now.

Leicester came storming out of the blocks. Nobody asleep, nobody going through the motions, no tippy tappy they just wanted to get at city from the get go. So refreshing to see.

Can't wait for city to extend the ground by the way. It will be the greatest collection of empty seats ever assembled. Their support is fucking SHIT.

No disco-dancing in the tunnel? Players focussed on the game at hand, concentration levels maxed up? Prepared?
Yep.

Pity we dont get prepped before a game like that. :|

Even though I still strongly fancy city to get something here I think we're witnessing the first signs of "the pep effect" today. There's a few city players out there whose attitude on the couldn't give a fuck-ometer is off the charts. Bound to be the case when the players know the manager is a dead duck, same happened at United first time round when Fergie said he was off.

A lot of those players know they won't be there next season. Mind you, you'd think they'd be playing to attract another club's interest.

To be fair. yaya toure has been in that mode for most of the season so pellegrini's departure hasn't affected his attitude at all  That lazy ba.stard was on his way out of citeeh in the summer regardless of who their manager is next season - the only difference now is that he has probably already got a head start on his packing

Id agree with that, he's been dire for the most part this season. On his day he's unplayable, however on the flip side when he starts acting the giant vagina and sulks his way through games he's a complete passenger.

If this ends up with a Leicester victory, Tottenham could be second by tonight.
