Are you both serious?!! They're top by 5 points, just schooled Citeh away and it's Feb and you're saying I can't believe it's got to this point? Every single club but us has taken a beating off them, they're now favourites for the title! Lol.

Start Theo, they play on the break and will give their slow defense some thing to think on! 2-1 to the Arsenal, I expect Alexis to get form back, he'll relish this one! Theo and Alexis to bag :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I had no idea why Coquelin didnt start against Bournemouth, however Coquelin simply has to play this week. Before he got injured we were playing great football. We are a different team with an inform Coquelin. Wenger is delusional if he thinks Flamini is in form and warrants to keep his place. He is a disaster waiting to happen and should have been sent off for that two footed tackle. Hopefully Wenger picked Flamini on the basis Coquelin is just lacking a little bit of fitness, because if not, its a unforced tactical error of judgement by Wenger.

I said wins against Bournemouth and Leicester would put us in a great position going forward, and its one down and one to go. We are closer to the league title than some would think, and a win this week will be a giant leap forward.
Being optimistic is a good thing. We all get very upbeat after a win and very down when we don't.
The thing is, we've had many many chances to take advantage this year but have failed to do so, so I wouldn't expect this weekend to be any different.
Watching Leicester dismantle city at the weekend, I think they will come and do a job on us, maybe a draw, but they will be happy with that.
Looking at Leicesters remaining games after us, they are nearly all very winnable so if they can get something off us, they will really fancy their chances of winning the title I would think.

Us on the other hand, as we all know, have to go to City, United, Spurs, West Ham and an upward looking Everton.
Realistically, we will not win many of them, if any, which we need to do to win the title.

I think Vardy's predicting 10 - 0
I think your wrong - what he is saying is 'this finger goes in this hole & that's what you can expect us to do to Arsenal". Pity he's wrong it'll be a 2-2 draw. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Really could go either way.

How can a team with title aspirations leave massive gaps in their defence?? Not getting caught on the odd occasion but virtually every week. We really are a shower of :censored: I obviously would love us to win the league but I don't think we deserve to. And I am absolutely positive Wenger doesn't. If we win it will be because others stumble, no other reason. Oddly enough this is about the time our unbeaten runs normally start as we adopt an over my dead body attitude as we pursue that coveted 4th spot. Not chasing down the title we won't, we'll stutter and stumble & F*** it up. I'm predicting a 4th place finish, 3rd at best.

I too think that we will win maybe a scoreline of 3-1. My feeling isn't because of the notion that they play too open cos I don't think that they do anymore, but I do think that their full backs and I think that our pace and tempo will bowl them over. I actually think that their thrashing of citeeh will benefit us more than them - that convincing win has more and more people suggesting that they can win the league, and that will heighten and increase the pressure on them. We on the other hand are inclined to play better when we are not the favourites (see manure at home) and games like this are set up for le cock and his pussies to suggest that they are good enough to win the league - of course after we win this game we will revert to type and drop points to average/shit teams and the scum will sneak up and overtake both of us

The only concerns I have are (a) kante is all over ozil like a cheap rash and totally negates him (b) huth and morgan terrorise us at set pieces - somebody suggested that wally should start instead of giroud cos of his pace, but the reality is that we will need giroud for defending set pieces. I totally expect the pacy kos and Gabriel to negate vardy

A lot of key battles on the pitch for this game. Can't let them dominate set pieces. Our midfield needs to pick up Mahrez. Giroud needs to avoid being taken out of the game physically by Huth/Morgan.

Luckily we don't have Martin Demichelis in our team so we should look better defensively than City did. Sanchez has a beast game against them earlier, I believe that was the fixture he got back on form? Same again please.

We know Leics will work their bollocks off and, to stand a chance of beating them, we'll have to match them.

Yaya 'where's my cake' Toure waddled around completely uninterested until he was hooked just after half-time, and Silva and Sterling are never up for a fight. Leics completely outfought them and then outplayed them.

The Citeh players reminded me of a lot of our team. They seemed unaware that the opposition might challenge them and played at a lower pace as if it was a friendly. Given Ramsey, Ox, Giroud, Kos and Theo's propensity to give the ball away, I worry about the game. If we can score early I make us favourites, but if not it could be a long afternoon.

Might not be a popular call this but i think i'd prefer to have Campbell back in for this due to him being better than Ox defensively, might even drop consider dropping Ramsey for Elneny to give more supposed help in defensive midfield areas, if that's what he was bought for then might at least give the guy a chance otherwise it was a wasted £5M.

This is a game for the Alexis, Ozil, Theo attacking axis. With those three we blasted Utd and Leicester and we need an explosive start. Ramsey will be on the right with Coquelin starting with Elneny as we will need energy and discipline in the midfield. For all his energy, flamini is not disciplined enough and he really should be suspended for this game. I'd love to see ramsey and coquelin together but I can't see wenger starting with ox, joel or theo on the right. We have to attack aggressively from the start. BUT I cannot forget that it was Ranieri who oversaw Chelsea's first victory over us for 13 years back in 2004. I would love to win this one, just to avenge that champions league quarter final defeat.

Popular with me. If there's one thing we need plenty of its tempo/intensity. What Leicester will want is for us to play in a pedestrian manner combined with players who are slow at tracking back.

Campbell will run his knackers off and either way will encourage the crow and hopefully introduce more directness to our play.

Too many idiots here trying to be "made right" rather than wanting to win .

I derive no satisfaction from the fact the club are *word censored* and the manager is an arse ,I still want us to win !
Because I have an awful feeling that the Scum will win the league, we wont win it as we have a clueless wanker of a manager and a bunch of bottlejobs on the pitch, we have tough away games at the Scum, Man U, Everton, West Ham and Man City, like it or not Leicester and the scum are the form teams, I wouldnt be suprised if they win at Man City on Sunday and if we beat Leicester then the gap is only 2 points. I know you hate Leicester but it it comes down to those 2 for the title then it goes without saying 100% that we would all want Leicester. They need to keep winning and keep the gap between them and Spurs as big as possible

I've been very critical of Campbell, for a long time he looked like a terrified rabbit, but of late he looks more confident, he's always worked hard and, despite being totally one-footed, he can, at least, dribble, beat a man and cross (like we used to hope Theo would be able to do one day).

I'd like to see him and Alexis swapping wings during the match; but it's rock or a hard place up top.

Play Theo and the Leics back 4 will have to drop deeper and give us more space in midfield, but at the cost of defending set pieces with the oompa loompahs.
Play the French lampost to correct that, but lose the point of having any fast players, and make even Huth look like Usain Bolt.

I'd rather neither of them, maybe Alexis in a false 9 role with an extra midfielder. No doubt AW will set us up perfectly.

Not the worst idea to have Alexis up front given the hideous form of both wally and Giroud, if so maybe move Ramsey forward and Elneny and Coq in the middle , any chance of Welbeck even making the bench
