THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Let's face it if Wenker :cussing: got sacked the AKB's would probably go back to whatever they did before they supported Arsene PLC founded 1996 :barscarf:

Some will support their dear leader until the bitter end, many of them will actually stop going games because they can't support Arsene PLC anymore. :cussing:

However there still is a growing tide of former Wenger supporters changing their stance over time, especially the old school support where from where I stand the majority want him gone!

Wenker is slowly dismantling his core support every week with his incompetence & arrogant attitude :blah:

Gooners rightly or wrongly get het up about ex-players. How they left, what they said, how they "engineered" a move away etc. Some of these players get absolutely demonised in the eyes of Arsenal supporters.

Well there is no bigger lying snake than the snake in our midst right now. Wenger has been sneering at us off the pitch and harming us on the pitch for years now. All the while taking a fortune of our money for himself.

Honestly, after all the shit he has done, the insults, the strokes he has pulled and now, how he publicly treats paying fans over ticket prices how anyone can say ...........
"I want him gone but I still love and respect him for what hes done" is really beyond me. :|

We dot know the inside story, maybe Wenger fucked his wife, I don't know., but I think it's sad not to acknowledge someone who has done right by you - in ANY walk of life. Just a shame their relationship is like that really, but it doesn't keep me awake at night!
:D

I doubt any of us would stand on a stage and hail a guy who'd fucked our better halves

Ok i'll bite Steve-I, how can you possibly defend him and continue to support his position as manager when he shows such a complete and utter disdain for you, me and every other Arsenal fan?

I can't stand Wenger any more after the rubbish he's come out with this week. I wasn't far off that mark before this week.

I avoid the confirmation bias that is so evident in almost every thread on this forum. That is because I see things as they are and not as I wish them to be to suit my own narrative. This is a small corner of the Arsenal world and remains firmly in the minority. It is not you that has bitten by the way, it is me that has. I should stop coming to look every so often as I do, but like a car crash it's hard to avert ones gaze.

Anyway, UTA.

Don't converse with the fuckers you'll only get your blood pressure up. They've been chained to the radiator for 10 years and have fallen in love with their captor. Textbook Stockholm syndrome. Yes sir, no sir, 3 bags full sir. Pity them sure but please don't engage them.

AKBaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

So beyond the normal puerile attempts at wumming, our ever decreasing band of inarticulate AW supporters are unable to come up with a cohesive argument to defend our lord and saviour.

Every single one of the desperate crutches they have used over time to justify his continued tenure at our club have been removed and they can no longer find even a modicum of reasonable argument to defend him, disappointed for them to say the least

How could you possibly know that?

The people who want Wenger gone are not some fringe minority, it used to be, not anymore. It's safe to say the people who want him to stay are usually deluded and overly sentimental. A bit rich thinking you don't have your own perceived narrative, which is to defend Wenger at all cost. There is no narrative here. If you can back up your position with sound reasoning and logic then fair enough, but the AKB rarely can form a coherent argument.

If you think this place is a car crash then kindly fuck off back to the Tollington with all the other Wenger sycophants. You might even find LaughingGooner still giddy about beating Olympiakos while drinking watered down shitty beer.
