Hleb - stay or go?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My thoughts exactly  We are talking about a seasoned pro being fucked in january :?: It would be laughable if it wasnt so fucking serious  I'm sick about hearing what great ability this guy has cos for me he does fuck all and the stats back that up in every department you care to look at. If that wasnt bad enough he decides to "go for an ice cream" the night before one of our biggest games of the season  :x

Please just fuck off hleb and bring eboue with you when you are going

Just need to rest Hleb for the odd game instead of working him into the ground, we would get a lot more out of him

Very few players can last a whole season without being rested and give their best in every game, even Henry needed rested, the game is so intense these days that it takes lot out of each player each game, especially repetitive sprints

Hleb simply has to stay. to lose two of our best midfielders would leave us well short of good class in the midfield and with gilberto probably off too, surely wenger will be doing all he can to keep him. At times he can be frustrating but he's still got it in the locker and can you see arsenal going places without players of his class?

Keep him. Perhaps he'll get the chance to play in the centre of midfield next season.

STAY!
We cannot keep letting our top players leave. He needs more goals true, but he creates chances and panics defences with his running with the ball.

He is going full stop, I wonder how long the Italian fans will put up with his non-Shoot policy

I am sorry if fuck off sounds harsh but if he doesn't want to be at the club then let's sell him for a decent amount!

We can always buy someone who looks good on YouTube!

I'm not bothered either way. He'd be an excellent squad player but he lacks the necessary will to be a match-winner.

Away from home (particularly in Europe) he's a great asset with his ability to hold onto the ball but he doesn't want to shoot or score.

The fact that the majority either want Hleb to go or couldn't care less if he did leave says alot, I think. The Belorussian certainly hasn't played up to his enormous potential for a long enough period to convince Arsenal fans that he is essential to the team's chances of getting future success.
