Giroud was great today, always working always getting his head in. Brilliant assist for old silly bollocks too.

Totally agree Steve o was never a pen. Because he is Englsh they won't dare call it a dive. If that was ozil at the other end it would have been cheat cheat cheat

Was it Eduardo v Celtic in a CL qualifier, when he went down and won a pen and was branded a cheat for ever in he Media.

Gonna have to disagree with that "great" assessment of Giroud. He was absent first half. And when Ozil or someone isnt feeding him he creats nothing himself.
He can and does work hard, hold the ball up and can be good in the air but today I didnt see much from him. Hes had far, far better performances.

But hey, doesnt really matter now. :barscarf:

I agree about Giroud, he's saving a hat-trick up for OT.

I think a better CF than Giroud up top for us today and we may just have won that a little more comfortably........

The chances we had and missed in the last 20 mins, for me, highlights the need for a clinical striker.

however, it has been AGES since we won a game like that, loved seeing the celebrations with the fans at the end, but overall that was piss poor today. the fans and team were stuck in second gear.

just hope city win later to kill the scum off.

In SteveO I trust :barscarf:
Off day? He's been utter gash since he came back from injury and most of this season. Remember when he had the pace and skill to beat players? Definitely a major concern from someone who's supposed to be our star player.
Sanchez just has the habit of overdoing it, often facing 2 or even 3 players he needs to release it, rather than attempt to dribble as we must have free players elsewhere.

Even when against 10 men, we still didn't move the ball quick enough to create gaps / tire Leicester out.

Missed shitload of chances the BFG's header in particular, and a Welbeck scuff from inside the 6 yard box, but got there in the end.

Stiil in the hunt, and its the hope that kills you aint it.

All moaning about the ref - WTF ???!!!!

This will be the same ref who was drawing money from the bookie's till having lumped on Leicester to be winning at half time. Three Arsenal bookings for doing fuck all, a penalty denied when his arm was clearly out (when it happened exactly the same way to them on the halfway line 10 mins later it was an instant free kick), completely ignored the most blatant foul on Ozil and couldn't work out that Vardy miscontrolled the ball and then Stevie G style stuck out his leg to fall over Monreal.

That first half refereeing display was almost up there with Dowd's heroic role in the 4 goal comeback at St James's

23 attempts on goal, 6 on target, 72% possession, playing against 10 men for 35 minutes, winning goal in 95th minute. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Beggars belief. Atkinson today was worse than Riley at Old Trafford.

Also add ignoring that dirty prick trying to snap Ramsey's leg in two right under his nose. If the FA had any decency he'll be charged but I'm not holding my breath for little old Leicester.

Everything this season has gone their way on and off the pitch. First bit of difficulty today going down to 10 and they were clueless. Left the chav standing on his own up front and watched us run rings around them even though we were playing awfully.

Ah, good old Leicester and their fans. Just having a good time and not getting too worked up by it all. Good old small town Leicester and their good old fashioned, Asian billionaire owner.

Probably thought it was a pen AND a red card.

Don't get me wrong, I would like our players to be more streetwise and even though it was a foul regardless, had Ozil gone done earlier in the move it would 100% have been given as a free kick on the edge of their box. I wouldn't have complained had Giroud managed to win a penalty in a big game doing the same. Doesn't mean that it's a penalty and not a dive though.
