Hleb - stay or go?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If we're talking about the player then I would like to see him stay, although not as an automatic first choice.
If we're talking about the forum moderator then I think he should fuck off  8)

Well, I was in Italy with work colleagues when a friend of a friend 'innocently' invited me for a late evening coffee. Whilst there, I got to sample the delights of authentic Italian Ice Cream and am now hooked.

How bizarre  I know another person that same thing happened to. It's like the Egg advert with the dumb/smart balance thingy.

TBH never really understood why Arsene didnt consider Bobby Pires for the 'playmaker' role - always thought he had it in him and he would deffo score 10-15 a season from there now.

Hlebs goalscoring and assist ratio dont stack up, it doesnt really matter whether the timing of this is bad as we have lost the flanimal now, I think Rosicky and Hleb are very similar but Rosicky has more goals in him if he can stay fit.

Lastly, if he doesnt want to play for arsenal its all irelevant.

he is one of these players that was brought in to be a match winner.

turned out to be the exact opposite, i hope he leaves and makes space for others coming thru.

It looks as if it's a pretty close whether we want Hleb to stay or not with the majority opting for go/not bothered.

i think it should depend on two things

a) how much we can get for him

2) his wages.

If we can get what we paid for him, then sell him. He's had his setling in period and still hasnt produced the goods in a consistant manner. Now with this "big" summer ahead of us we might as well get some fresh blood in there (and i dont mean young, i just mean new)

I dont know what kind of wages he is on but if they are fairly small then we may as well keep him. He has only been with us for 3 seasons but he is an experianced player by our standards.

The third thing to consider is that he has only 2 years left on his contract, so if we didn't sell him this year we would need to add another year on to that contract.
