Leicester at home 14th 1200

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Post game comments seem to sum up the life of a modern day Gooner........euphoria mixed in with some real frustration. I cant comment on the performance (obviously) but will they ever learn not to be doing the lap of honour bullshit until they get a trophy ?? Maybe it isn't as bad as the scouse celebration a few weeks ago, but we are better than them and should have loftier ambitions than them so therefore shouldn't be judged by their actions
Funny, I thought everyone loved Klopp ?

I would still have klopp as our manager in a heartbeat 8) I wasn't criticising their actions as such because I absolutely think that they needed to unify their fanbase behind the new regime and that served their purpose - when your club is in the doldrums and had fcuk all to celebrate then your aims/ambitions differ considerably from that of a club like ours who should be expected to be in the running for all the top honours and whose reactions to wins should be better than the small time scousers

Great result and I'm delighted for Welbeck.

It still feels like we're staggering along without much cohesion though. We've been playing like strangers in recent months (mainly because of the injuries to Cazorla and Coquelin) and I'm not sure whether we'll be able to sort it out in time for us to make a charge for the title.

Still, 12 games to go and some much needed good form will be required to get through these tricky away games. Sp*rs, Lecester and Citeh have tough games too so it's not all bad news when looking at the fixture list.

Not confident at all, but it's hardly a lost cause so I remain optimistic.

By the way, nice to see substitutions that have a real impact. Theo did well and Welbeck's goal was perfect in every way 8)

As for the ref...
1. the foul on Ozil was clear to see - shocking that he missed it
2. it was not a penalty but I don't blame the ref too much. It was clever cheating by Vardy; I reckon most refs would give it. Monreal gift wrapped it for him though.
3. Sending off was very harsh. I'm sure he was trying to even up the contest after the penalty.
4. How did he miss the leg breaker? - surely a 3 match ban awaits????
5. I hate it when refs blow up and stop us playing on or taking quick free kicks. We lost the advantage on several occasions because of the pedantic refereeing.
6. I wouldn't have given a pen for any of those handballs either. Benefit of the doubt. Play on.

Mate - you normally talk a lot of sense, but re-read that comment. This is Liverpool FC, Champions League winners as recently as 2005 and until Ferguson came and pissed on their parade, the so called biggest club in English football.

I don't give a flying fuck if we go 25 years without the title.......if I see us holding hands and raising the Bowl to choruses of "hoorays" after a 2-2 draw with West Brom then I will truly fucking give up forever.

THE most small time thing I've seen in years - by the way, even the Mousers fans I know were absolutely fucking ashamed of it !

Was it really a lap of honour.....or just some appreciation of those who weren't c.unty enough to leave in the 80th minute ?

I agree with you totally and don't feel that players (not just ours) don't do it nearly enough (thanks to fifa's bullshit rules against over celebrating), but I do draw the line at laps of honour and (even worse) these bullshit "selfies"

Jumping into the crowd - I'm all for that - unless the fucker that's done it has already been booked, in which case I'll lose my shit if it happens  I agree the Liverpool thing against West Brom was completely cringeworthy, that's a low you'll struggle to recover from, celebrating a home draw against west fucking Brom, Jesus wept.

Also that Gerard speech to the sky cameras (gallas did the same  ) after they beat city and had one hand on the league trophy was another cringe fest - we must not let this slip - oh dear  We didn't exactly cover ourselves in glory with the 4th place jizz fest up at St.James's a few years back either, you'd swear we'd won the quadruple FFS.

Doing victory laps in February shows a complete lack of focus, get down the tunnel and get focused on the next game. Take as many selfies of the premier league trophy balancing on your cock as you want once you've won the fucking thing. Until then get a grip.

I still want to hear about this "lap of honour". If it really was St James's / Hawthorns type selfies with back slapping and hugging all round then I agree...if it was about showing some appreciation to the fans who stayed (as opposed to those that obviously had "last trains" to catch at 2pm ?????) then I see now't wrong with it. In fact...I guaranteed if they'd sloped off down the tunnel then plenty of "Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells" types would be on here now saying how out of touch the players are with the fans and should show appreciation to those who pay their wages !

You can't have it both ways

no victory lap just a few of the players clapping the fans at the end and walking over to the north bank as well
happens at every home game

For me, the turning point wasn't so much the sending off, but the decision to substitute Mahrez as a result.

Another in a long line of baffling decisions by managers at the Emirates since 2007.

Danny Murphy and Tim Sherwood on MOTD. What a pair of cu*ts. Saying aramsey made a meal of that tackle and generally bitch8ng about us. What a fucking surprise.

Wait until the next two games come on. Wankfest galore then.
