Never mind last minute penalties and all that, sticking the free-kick right on to a teammate's head from 45 yards away in the fifth minute of stoppage time is proper pressure and proper bottle. To be able to do that, is absolute genius.
My thoughts exactly! Class

The free kick from Ozil was in NFL parlance a "Hail Mary" and it came off !
Was pure luck but sometimes that is what you need !
Sometimes it defines your season !
Im still waiting !

Great free-kick, almost impossible to defend a ball that good. Although question whether perhaps their line was slightly too high.

Moment of real quality that followed a really sub-par performance and a plethora of poor set-piece deliveries.

Great bit of magic from Ozil..I actually thought he was having a bit of a stinker up until that moment, along with the likes of Ramsay and Sanchez. A great rally to at the end to get the 3 points but it covered up the cracks of our sloppy uneven performances of late.

And he set up our equaliser with a great deft header.
If he maintains that form, we'll win the league.
Whilst I agree Giroud fought for and won alot and hassled and battled brilliantly against the 2 CH's that were on him, and agree he did brilliant for the assist to Feo, I don't agree that his current form will contribute to us winning the PL. He isn't scoring. He's our main striker - we need goals from him. If he was netting every game or even every second game I'd agree with you. But his poor form (notwithstanding his efforts yesterday) is one of the reasons we won't win the PL sadly.
Im the first person to slate Giroud but he couldn't do much more yesterday.... He gave some lovely lay offs only to see a through ball over hit, he flicked headers on all day with no one else reading what he was going to do and but for the save of the match from Schmeichal he'd have got his goal too. We need him to continuously fight like that in every game. I do agree a goal or two would be nice but hes putting the effort in at the moment which is all I ask. The fact he's not good enough for a team with proper title aspirations is not his fault its Wengers.

Proof, if any more were needed, that Martin Atkinson is a grade A crunt :banghead:
Sky sources understand Leicester are confident the Football Association will not take any retrospective action against Drinkwater after being told by referee Martin Atkinson that he saw the challenge and did not deem it worthy of any action.
Any "referee" to deem that assault not worthy of any action is at best incompetent and a worst a complete and other farking CHEAT

Damning indictment on both him and the FA if the bloke isn't banned.

Unless of course he successfully runs the "not a bad bone in his body" defence which applies to any English player who isn't a media villain.

If he saw that tackle and didn't think it worthy of any action, then he should be suspended for three games for absolute incompetence. The tackle was terrible and that old: "I saw it but didn't think it was a card" excuse, is a fucking cowardly lie. A referee has one job on the pitch and that is to be in a position to spot every major decision. When they aren't able to do that, they should be judged as incompetent and action taken to remove them from the game. Questions need to be asked as to why a top-flight referee thought that kind of tackle was acceptable or wasn't able to spot it.

I've lost count of the amount of anti Arsenal shit I've read and heard the last few days. The media didn't like us spoiling the Leicester love in. I wonder where these media assholes go to when it comes to criticising Wenger for his incompetence.

I'm on the side of what I see on the TV, as he's apparently got a contract with SKY. Yes mate, we can read the score at the top of the screen and don't need your finger signals.

:censored: :hammer:
Looked like a bit of a twat. Old bloke sat behind him and his mates, probably got too see bugger all.

Watched it a few times, Ozil puffed out his cheeks said something too himself then produced that gem. Maybe he did say a liitle prayer to his God.

A referee' s first job is to protect the players - if he deemed that challenge acceptable then he is culpable of gross misconduct.
A shin high, studs up challenge, should always be a red, yellow at a minimum, to say it was not worthy of a card is scandalous.

The media reaction to the flamini thing v Bournemouth last week so fucking weird, kept going on about it and it was the main talking point at half time. The Leicester tackle has been erased from the memory and hasn't been discussed at all if I remember correctly, in fact sky ignored it, and I don't think any further was taken regarding the player who made the tackle, who didn't even get a yellow?

fucking joke, ramsey could have had two broken legs from two hatchet men that play for shit midlands clubs in 6 years. I don't blame him for his paranoia and reluctance to go into a fifty fifty challenge when you have *word censored* like that Leicester wanker sliding around the pitch with their legs up. fucking hell :banghead:

Swap the goals around from Sunday. Vardy puts Leicester one up with the Welbeck header, we'll leave Theo keep his goal and then in the 94th minute an arsenal player (preferably some dirty foreign type) drives into the box, pushes the ball past a defender, throws his leg into said defender, takes a tumble and PENALTY.

We win 2-1!!

Imagine the fucking shit storm that would be in the media all week? Swap Coquelin for Drinkwater and a 2 footed lunge at Mahrez and the bile that would be spewing from the pages of the rags would be relentless.

Fucking hypocrites.
