Zlatan on a free

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Zlatan on a free

Post by Wilson »

Doesnt appear to want to sign an extension at PSG.

Imagine Sanchez, Ozil and Ibrahimovic playing for Arsenal.

He's 34 and still miles better than anyone we've got up front. Not worth it now, missed the boat when he went to PSG. Need someone with pace.

Give him a two-year contract and whatever money he wants.

Doesn't exactly fit the Wenger mould of obedience.

Plus it would kill Giroud who at 27 and after 4 seasons here is going to get so much better.

He is a lazy, arrogant, petulant w*nker and would not suit the physical high energy english game - I wouldnt sign him even if he was only 30 years old

I'm afraid that signing him for real would leave a gaping hole up front in our virtual XI, so I'm dead against. However Suarez and Ronaldo could probably cover......

Still world class, but probably already peaked, there's a few around Europe i'd rather have if the idea is challenging Giroud for a place.

Agreed :(

It'd be worth a punt, but TOF doesn't have the balls.

Lazy bastard playing in a piss poor league.

I will never forget the stat, when he was at Barca. That he covered less distance on the pitch than Valdes who was playing in goal. :D :D

Wenger would be ripped to shreds if he came here, Fans already moan about Ozil not putting a shift in. This bloke would never cross the half way line.

He's incredibly talented, probably as good as Messi and Ronaldo, but he's lazy and arrogant and has been happy to play in a shit league (recently the team in second was nearer to relegation than they were to PSG), so why does he want to leave?

To rise to one last challenge in the PL, or to take megabucks from some other shit league for standing about preening?

A few years ago maybe, but now I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.
