This side could not find a goal in this game but given the chance they could get a few against Hull in the Cup replay. Sadly they won't get a chance. Forget this reply & concentrate on League/cup double !!. :barscarf: :barscarf:
P.S. Did Feo touch the ball while he was on as sub ?.

The first half wasn't bad. It was inevitable that we would concede in the second half and in typical Arsenal style, being caught on the counter for the first and errors from our own players contriving to give away a penalty for the second (Did Messi dive?). We pissed away any chance we had of scoring. The referee was either incompetent or Barca's 12th man, which is standard in the Be All and End All.

I just hope we don't ditch the FA Cup (and the league) to attempt to turn around this unassailable lead. Just keep the score down and get the fuck out of this unwinnable cup that we are not set up for and has become a hindrance to our club winning other trophies. TOF should have realized in eighteen seasons that having a good defence is key in European games and not suicidal attacking with the complete absence of finishing as we go sideways and backwards once we have a shooting chance. TOF will never win this cup, which is unfortunate as it may be the only thing that keeps him here season after season (that and the £23K per day wage and the unlimited power of a God at Cashburton).

We are our own worst enemies. I'd have taken a 0-0 all day, except we ballsed it up. We so rarely play with any defensive discipline and we only need to let our guard down once to screw it up.

I find the Ramsey slating a bit perplexing, even Neymar would look dog shit in our current team, one man isn't going to stand out against a team like Barca unless the rest of the team can compete too which we didn't we were second best in every department,if anybody needs slating its the French model up front, once again he illustrated that he is a fresh air thief, watching him prance about boils my piss

Wengers comments after this game just leave me totally exasperated. It proves we were beat BEFORE we even kicked off.

We lost because...
"They are better than us, everybody knows that"

and the second leg......
"We are 95% out"

Thank God George didnt go to Anfield '89 instilling that attitude and needing a 2 goal win......

If your in a big game, against opposition that can hurt you at any moment, the last thing you want is to have a player that continuously gives the ball away, and that's Ramsey. The guy has been shocking this season, and the 2013/14 season aside, he hasn't been good enough overall.

No surprise with that comment he has always been like this....negative feelings are soaked up by the players
Do not know of another manager who does this so consistently....he is a total wanker

We spend 70 minutes defending as much as we can, and yet still bomb forward and leave ourselves open at the back for that 1st goal. Tonight also showed the reality that the likes of Giroud and Ramsey just aren't good enough, and the fact there is no one on the bench to replace them, sums Wenger up perfectly. We have an average squad overall, and if I was Sanchez or Ozil, I would be already planning my exit away from crackpot Wenger.

That was suicide football, to be fair up to 70 mins they were in with a chance.......but leaving only Montreal back was incredible
Of course Bellerin totally out of position although made a big effort to get back

Funny how 'everyone knows they are better than us' but barca players still managed to motivate themselves and beat us comfortably whereas when we play hull it's hard to motivate our players

Barca were very very poor and better finishing would have seen us win .
They were worried enough to resort to the manufacuring of incidents (alba Giroud) but the sa fact is we ran out of steam after 60 mins !
Our lack of fitness was shocking to see !
In the end they won with better fitness .

Never seen so many arabs at a football match ,walked past the away section 30 mins b4 kick off and it sounded like an ISIS fund raising event bieng held at the gold souk in Dubai !

Habbibi !

And this bollox about "we were disciplined defensively/played ok for 70 mins". Like thats something to be proud of?
Last I checked a match lasts 90 mins.

Teams whose manager knows we are better than them can be disciplined defensively for the full 90 mins

No shame in losing 0-2 to the Whores I suppose, but the infuriating thing is we did ok for 70 minutes. Mostly disciplined, could have scored 2 ourselves and then we just switch off en-masse for the first and go amateur hour for the second.

But what really surprised me was that we didn't lose by more given how bad so many individual performances were.

The Ox has been well covered in his own thread but he was gash last night. Yep, did a bit of extra defensive cover and fair play but everything he touched went to shit including missing a sitter.

Similarly Ramsey. Worked hard, checking and harrying but how many times did he just piss away invaluable possession under no real pressure?

Whilst it is right to slate the Big German Pussy for his moronic cushioned block in our own box, it is also right to point out the fucking stupid panicked kick at it by El Capitano Stupido. This is the guy that flies into brainless two-footers out on the halfway line for no good reason. Never anticipates, never reads the game, only ever reacts and most often too late. He will never be anything but a liability and an arm waving idiot.

Giroud showed how bad he can be. Apart from one well-won header that was brilliantly saved, he was absolute gash. But that's him. Screamer one week, nothing for the next couple of games. He is PL average mostly, can be great on a good day but total gash on a bad one. The problem is the number of bad days is greater the number of good days. Said it before; we will NEVER win the PL or CL with Giroud as our main first choice striker.

Walcott. Did he actually come on last night? Or did I dream that? Nuff said. 10 years of potential. 10 years. Give us a set of jerseys and a bag of balls and he's yours.

Welbeck looked lively because he has a bit more pace than Giroud but ultimately Welbeck's problem is his often terrible first touch, inability to link the play, and a very limited skillset on the ball. Again, he's just about PL average. You won't win the PL or the CL with him as your first choice striker either.

Sanchez was a good bit improved over his recent uber-shitness. Sanchez and Ozil showed they are far better ballers than anyone else on our team. But only in flashes. Which is to be expected against a possession-heavy side like the Whores. The problem is that shit and average players like Ramsey, The Ox, Captain Stupid, Coq, Giroud, Welbeck, Walcott etc are not on the same level and can't see the game the same way. Great players need to play with other great players. Ozil looked very frustrated at his team mates giving away possession so often and so cheaply. At one point he looked around at the bench with his arms wide open as if to say "Look at that shit, Arsene."

We need to fuck this competition out now. Send out the reserves and kids. Concentrate on the FA Cup and a decent finish in the PL.

Also should point out that Danny Alves is still one of the biggest cúnts in world football.

The Whores do like a dive and a whine of course but to see Messi waving the imaginary card at the ref was sickening. As someone that has always said he is better than the diving ladyboy at Madrid partly because on top of being a better player he has has grit and character and doesn't dive or cheat, I was disgusted to see that. He went down in my estimation. If you are that good surely you can get through life without acting the cúnt?
