Fixture Changes
what the actual fuck is going on with the fixtures at the moment?
5 days after the match with Hull we still dont know when the replay is going to take place.
The knock on effects also mean we dont know when a potential QF match will take place nor do we know when the WBA game scheduled for 12 March is going to take place.
Then there is the April games. As far as I am aware these also still have not been sorted out.
So the only scheduled matches are Swansea next Wednesday and that meaningless friendly in the Nou Camp.

I'm guessing we're trying to get it for the Tuesday/Wednesday after Spurs. I want to know why we can't just tell UEFA to fuck off and have it on the same night as the other CL games. What punishment can they dole out exactly?

It's a disgrace because it's leaving Arsenal, Hull, Watford and West Brom fans in the lurch. This was an obviously foreseeable possibility so why wasn't it considered before? Might be that there is some fighting between FA and PL re postponing Swansea (if that would work?).

Re: Fixture Changes
in hindsight it would probably have been easiest if they had announced prior to the Hull City game that the Swansea match would be postponed in the event of a replay.
however I really dont think it would be fair on Swansea supporters to cancel at this stage.
I cant help but think we are going to be pressured into playing on the 7th, the longer this goes on

Can't see the club selling 2,500 tickets for this.

Re: Fixture Changes
Just seen on a Hull forum that apparently the first half will be shown live, and the second half and any extra time "as live" at 10. Absolute bollocks. Fuck UEFA and their shitty cash cow competition. Who the fuck wants to watch Wolfsburg v Gent anyway FFS?

Re: Fixture Changes
I wouldn't mind going to this, but I have no chance of getting a ticket. Only £26 per ticket, and only 47 mins away from me in my exiled place oop north.
Re: Fixture Changes
Simple answer ban reolays. No one complains when the League cup is finished on the day

Re: Fixture Changes
Replay on 8th March 19:00 hrs. Strange as it clashes with Champions League
, I thought UEFA didnt allow that.
