Helb's off

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Helb's off

Post by davproc »

Our midfield does need more goals comming from it to be honest, and I don't think he's the answer. Sick Note Rosicky, Eboue, Flamni where never going to get into double figures this season or any come to that,

Wherever Helb ends up by the love of god please let him take Eboue with him!!

Technically great, passes through eye of needle, creative.

Needs more goals though.

Held ball up too long, but mainly becaus erest of team were not in the box for him to pass to!

Sad to see him go.

Can understand why he would move, his style woudl be even more effective in Italy or Spain.

Hleb is NOT leaving.

Not THIS summer, anyway.

The Webster clause has not been tested in law.

The first player to try it, is a very brave or foolish man.

A gentlemans agreement between clubs will prevent any club from encouraging such a court action. They do not want another Bosman type ruling.

If he wants to buy his contract out, it will have to be with the agreement of Arsenal. They will settle for no less than a normal transfer fee. In which case, the player will not get mega wages from his new club.

No point in moving, really.
